Short answer: RTX 5070 and RTX 5070 Ti graphics cards and prebuilt gaming PCs are widely listed in the U.S., but inventory and prices can change between a product page and checkout. The available snapshots for this guide are dated, so no listing below should be treated as guaranteed in stock on September 5, 2026. Use the linked product-finder and retailer pages to confirm checkout, delivery, seller, and final price before paying.
Prices are before tax unless stated otherwise. NVIDIA’s original reference prices were $549 for the RTX 5070 and $749 for the RTX 5070 Ti; those are launch prices, not promises of current availability or street pricing. NVIDIA’s launch announcement and current RTX 5070 family page warn that actual retail prices vary.

Availability snapshot: what the evidence shows
The most defensible way to use a stock tracker is to separate where products were listed from what is verified at checkout. The supplied market snapshots show RTX 5070 cards around $790.99–$799.99 and RTX 5070 Ti cards around $949.97–$1,049.99, depending on model and retailer. Those figures came from an August 14, 2026 price snapshot and can no longer be assumed current. PC Gamer’s price watch and Tom’s Hardware’s price report provide the dated context.
Best Buy’s captured category pages showed systems from Skytech, CyberPowerPC, HP OMEN, Alienware, Lenovo, ASUS, MSI and iBUYPOWER, including some “Add to cart” listings at the time. Because that snapshot was not a fresh September 5 checkout check, treat it as a list of places to inspect—not proof that those systems remain available.

Where to check RTX 5070 and 5070 Ti stock
Start with NVIDIA’s RTX 5070 availability announcement and Product Finder. It aggregates partner graphics cards and PC builders, but it is an index rather than a reservation system. NVIDIA advises checking again after retail partners update inventory.
| Purchase path | What to check | Best use |
|---|---|---|
| NVIDIA Product Finder | Partner model, retailer link and current price | Broad starting point |
| Best Buy | Shipping ZIP code, local pickup, open-box condition and seller | Pickup and conventional returns |
| Newegg | “Sold and shipped by Newegg” versus marketplace fulfillment | GPU selection; seller-risk comparison |
| Micro Center | Specific store and pickup quantity | Local buyers |
| B&H Photo and Amazon | Delivery date, seller, fulfillment and return policy | Additional retail availability |
| NZXT, CyberPowerPC, iBUYPOWER, Lenovo, HP OMEN, Dell/Alienware and Skytech | Complete specifications, PSU, cooling, warranty and delivery date | Ready-to-use systems |
How to read a stock listing
- Buy now or Add to cart: strongest evidence, but complete checkout to confirm.
- Available for shipping: enter your ZIP code and verify an actual arrival date.
- Store pickup: applies only to the selected store and location.
- Backorder, preorder, notify me: not in stock.
- Marketplace: record the third-party seller and fulfillment company; do not assume the retailer’s normal warranty or returns apply.
- Open-box or refurbished: separate from new inventory and inspect the specific return and warranty terms.
- More buying options: not proof that the primary retailer has stock.
A useful tracker row should include retailer, exact model number, GPU variant, condition, seller, fulfillment, price, shipping, estimated arrival or pickup date, status, warranty, return policy, last-checked time and direct product URL. Search-result snippets are not sufficient evidence.
RTX 5070 versus RTX 5070 Ti
| Specification | RTX 5070 | RTX 5070 Ti |
|---|---|---|
| Architecture | Blackwell | Blackwell |
| CUDA cores | 6,144 | 8,960 |
| Memory | 12GB GDDR7 | 16GB GDDR7 |
| Memory interface | 192-bit | 256-bit |
| Memory bandwidth | 672 GB/s | 896 GB/s |
| Total graphics power | 250W | 300W |
| Recommended system power | 650W | 750W |
| Reference boost clock | 2.51 GHz | 2.45 GHz |
Both support PCIe Gen 5, DLSS 4, Multi Frame Generation and Reflex 2, with three DisplayPort outputs and one HDMI output. The Ti’s practical advantages are its 16GB of VRAM, additional CUDA cores, wider memory interface and higher bandwidth. Those advantages can matter for demanding textures, ray tracing, creative workloads and longer ownership.
The RTX 5070 uses less power and may be easier to fit in a compact case. Its 12GB can be adequate for many 1440p workloads. The better buy depends on the price gap: a modest Ti premium may justify the extra memory, while a several-hundred-dollar premium can make the 5070—or another GPU—more rational. Do not choose the Ti solely because it is faster.

Buy the graphics card when your current PC is ready
A standalone card is usually the cleaner choice if you already have a suitable CPU, motherboard, case, cooling and power supply. It also lets you choose the exact cooler, noise profile, dimensions and warranty. Confirm that the existing CPU will not substantially limit the card at your target resolution.
NVIDIA recommends a 650W system power supply for the RTX 5070 and 750W for the RTX 5070 Ti. These are reference recommendations; a high-power CPU, overclocking, an aging unit or a low-quality PSU may justify more capacity. Verify the connector arrangement, included adapter or native PCIe Gen 5 cable, and the PSU’s actual model—not just its wattage.
Compare a prebuilt when your whole system needs replacing
A prebuilt can be financially sensible when GPU-only prices are heavily inflated or when you also need a CPU, motherboard, RAM, SSD, Windows license, case, cooling and power supply. It can also provide one-vendor support and a ready-to-use system. NZXT’s prebuilt collection is one system-builder path to inspect, while Best Buy’s RTX 5070 desktop categories provide a broad comparison set.
Do not value a prebuilt by its GPU label alone. A system advertising an RTX 5070 may hide a weak CPU, 16GB single-stick memory, a small SSD, proprietary components, poor airflow or an unlisted PSU. Warranty service may require shipping the entire computer instead of replacing one component.
Prebuilt buying checklist
- Exact GPU and VRAM: RTX 5070 with 12GB or RTX 5070 Ti with 16GB.
- CPU model and generation, not merely “Core i7” or “Ryzen 7.”
- 32GB dual-channel RAM is preferable for a premium gaming system.
- At least a 1TB SSD for a general-purpose gaming PC.
- PSU brand, model, wattage and efficiency rating.
- Motherboard chipset and upgrade support.
- Cooler type, radiator size if applicable, case airflow and included fans.
- Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Windows edition and included accessories.
- Warranty length, service procedure and return-shipping rules.
- Exact delivery date, not simply “ships soon.”
Check the card before ordering
NVIDIA’s reference RTX 5070 is approximately 242mm long, 112mm wide and two slots, but partner cards vary. The RTX 5070 Ti also varies substantially by manufacturer. Use the exact model number and manufacturer dimensions; measure clearance around front fans, radiators, drive cages and adjacent expansion slots. NVIDIA’s RTX 5070 quick-start guide provides reference installation guidance.
Also verify the return window, manufacturer warranty and registration requirements. A factory-overclocked model may use more power and occupy more slots than a reference-style card. A low price may depend on a rebate, coupon, membership or bundle, so calculate the amount you must actually pay.
A simple value test
Use this calculation for a fair comparison:
effective price = product price + shipping + mandatory membership cost − guaranteed discount
For a prebuilt, estimate the GPU’s value by subtracting reasonable values for the CPU, motherboard, RAM, SSD, PSU, case, cooler, Windows and warranty from the system price:
estimated GPU value = prebuilt price − estimated value of the other components
This is only a comparison tool. OEM pricing, bundled warranties and component quality mean it is not precise accounting. A prebuilt may still be the better purchase when its GPU value is slightly higher than a standalone card because it includes a usable new platform and support.
If every listing is sold out
- Check NVIDIA’s Product Finder and expand beyond Founders Edition or base-clock models.
- Check Micro Center inventory by individual store.
- Compare prebuilts containing the same GPU.
- Consider open-box only with a clear return period and known condition.
- Compare competing GPUs rather than accepting a severe markup.
- Ignore alleged restock dates unless the retailer or manufacturer publishes them.
If a listing is suspiciously cheap, confirm the exact GPU and VRAM, new condition, seller, fulfillment, shipping origin, return address, rebate terms and warranty route. Marketplace savings are not worthwhile if the card has unclear provenance or no practical return path.
How this tracker should be updated
A listing should be labeled verified in stock only when its product page permits checkout or confirms store pickup. Use price seen when the page is accessible but checkout cannot be confirmed. Remove or clearly gray out listings marked sold out, notify me or unavailable.
Record a timestamp such as “Last checked September 5, 2026, 10:30 a.m. ET; U.S. listings; prices before tax.” Recheck featured products on update days and keep a change log for price increases, stockouts and delistings. Stock can disappear between page load and checkout, cart reservations can expire, retailer limits can apply, and tax varies by state.
