Reports have also linked Louis Page and Lorenz Hutchinson with other clubs, yet neither a sale nor a firm price for either player is confirmed by Leicester. The available evidence does not establish that these are the three players behind the original headline—or that the club is sitting on a specific, calculable windfall.
What Leicester has actually confirmed
The clearest transfer fact is already a completed move. On 11 July 2026, Leicester City announced that academy graduate Jeremy Monga had completed a permanent transfer to Manchester City “for an undisclosed fee.” That wording confirms a sale, but it does not reveal the price or how much Leicester will ultimately retain.
Leicester’s announcement says Monga joined the academy at Under-9 level, made his Premier League debut against Newcastle in April 2025 aged 15 years and 271 days, and played seven Premier League matches in 2024/25. He scored his first senior Leicester goal in the Championship the following season, becoming the club’s youngest-ever senior goalscorer, according to the club. Leicester City’s announcement (11 July 2026) is the primary source for the transfer, though the URL supplied for the announcement is the club’s news page rather than a fee disclosure.
The club’s exact statement was: “We can confirm that Leicester City Academy graduate Jeremy Monga has completed a permanent transfer to Manchester City for an undisclosed fee.” No specific fee should be treated as confirmed on that basis.

Which other players have been linked with moves?
Louis Page: reported Manchester United interest, no confirmed sale
FourFourTwo reported on 15 September 2026 that Manchester United were in initial talks over Leicester midfielder Louis Page. The outlet said he had recorded three assists in four league appearances at that point, started four of Leicester’s first six league matches of the season and was an England Under-19 international. It also reported a contract running through June 2029. These details describe the position reported on that date; they do not establish later form or a completed transfer. Read FourFourTwo’s report.
A separate Foxes of Leicester article reported that Leicester rejected a Manchester United bid and valued Page at £10 million. That is a secondary outlet’s account, not a valuation or bid confirmed in an official Leicester announcement reviewed here. The £10m figure is therefore a reported valuation—not money Leicester has received, a confirmed asking price, or a reliable estimate of net proceeds. Foxes of Leicester is the source for that claim.

Lorenz Hutchinson: interest reported, fee not established
Foxes of Leicester reported on 27 August 2026 that Arsenal and Aston Villa had registered interest in Lorenz Hutchinson and that Lazio had made an offer. The article described him as an 18-year-old forward with a contract due to expire the following summer. The available reporting does not establish a Leicester-confirmed bid, transfer fee, or completed sale. Treat the reported clubs and contract timing as claims attributed to that outlet, not official club information. Foxes of Leicester’s coverage.
What Leicester’s finances say—and what they do not
There is a financial backdrop to interest in player sales, but it does not prove that Leicester must sell these particular players or that a sale would solve the club’s finances. Foxes Trust’s 2026 summary of Leicester’s accounts for the year ended 30 June 2025 reports income of £186.5 million and a pre-tax loss of £71.1 million. The Trust also reports staff costs at 82% of turnover, compared with 101% in 2023/24 and 116% in 2022/23. These figures are presented here as reported by the Trust; they were not independently extracted from the filed statements for this article. Foxes Trust.

The Trust says that Premier League participation in 2024/25 raised income by around £80 million compared with the prior Championship season, largely through broadcasting income. It also reports that £124 million of debt was converted into equity during the year by King Power. The summary records CEO Kevin Davies’s assurance that Leicester expected to comply with Profitability and Sustainability Rules (PSR); that is an attributed assurance, not independent confirmation of compliance.
Financial pressure and transfer interest are not the same as available cash. A reported bid or valuation is a gross figure, not necessarily the amount the club would receive after any relevant costs, contractual entitlements or accounting treatment. The sources above do not establish the net proceeds of any potential Page or Hutchinson sale, nor the undisclosed fee or net proceeds from Monga’s transfer.

How strong is the “three players could make millions” claim?
The evidence supports a more limited conclusion than the headline suggests: one permanent sale is confirmed but its fee is undisclosed; interest in Page and Hutchinson has been reported by media outlets; and the £10 million Page valuation is unconfirmed by the club. The available sources do not verify that these three players were the headline’s intended trio, or establish a combined sale value. Any total presented as guaranteed or as money already available to Leicester would go beyond what these reports show.
