How to judge a particular used SUV
Compare a specific vehicle with comparable vehicles in the market where you will buy it. The relevant price is for a similar model year, configuration, drivetrain, mileage, and condition—not a general brand average. Then assess the evidence for that individual vehicle before treating a low price as a bargain.

- Condition and records: Review the service history, mileage, inspection findings, and any known repair needs. A pre-purchase inspection can reveal issues that an asking price or seller description does not.
- Configuration: Confirm the engine, drivetrain, and equipment. Differences between versions can affect both the comparable price and the work or cost required to maintain the vehicle.

- Compare likely ownership costs, including fuel, insurance, and depreciation, rather than relying on purchase price alone.
Without those comparable model-year, price, and ownership-cost facts, a numbered list would imply certainty that has not been demonstrated.
