Only one of the full-size SUVs checked for this guide has a manufacturer page that clearly lists three rows as standard on a specific base trim: the 2026 Chevrolet Suburban LS 2WD, at a listed starting MSRP of $63,700. The Nissan Armada has the lowest listed starting price among the models priced here, at $58,840, but Nissan describes it as an eight-seat SUV without tying that layout to a trim, so it cannot yet be treated as a standard-third-row vehicle. A ranked list of ten affordable full-size SUVs with standard third rows cannot be supported by current manufacturer pages, so this guide does not publish one.
How this guide defines the terms
- Full-size: the manufacturer’s own size label where one is given. Nissan calls the Armada a full-size SUV, and Jeep calls the Grand Wagoneer a large SUV. The other candidates are full-size body styles from their makers.

The model that meets the standard third-row test
Chevrolet Suburban LS 2WD
Chevrolet lists the Suburban LS 2WD at a $63,700 base MSRP and states that eight seats are standard. In this body style, eight seats means a third row is part of the base configuration. This is the only entry in the set where the manufacturer ties standard seating to a specific base trim and drivetrain. Four-wheel-drive versions and higher trims are priced separately and are not covered by this figure.
Models with a third row that are not yet confirmed as standard
Nissan Armada
At $58,840, the Armada is the lowest listed starting price among the models priced here. Nissan describes it as a full-size, eight-seat SUV, but the listing does not state the trim or drivetrain behind that price, or whether eight seats are standard on every trim. Until the trim is confirmed, the Armada is the cheapest priced entry in this set, not a proven cheapest model with standard third-row seating.
Chevrolet Tahoe LS 2WD
Chevrolet’s listing calls the Tahoe a three-row SUV and gives a $60,700 base MSRP for the LS 2WD. The description applies to the model, not to that trim’s seat configuration, so the LS 2WD’s standard seating is not confirmed by the source reviewed.

- Read the seating line for that trim. Confirm that the seat count is listed as standard for that trim, not as an option or as a feature of another trim.
- Note the drivetrain and the listed starting MSRP for that exact combination.
- Check that the listed price is for the 2026 model year before comparing it with another model.
- Before buying, confirm on the vehicle’s window sticker that third-row seating is listed as standard equipment on that trim.
Models that pass steps 2 and 5 on the same drivetrain and model year can be compared on starting price. Models that fail step 2 should be checked again before they are ranked.
