AviaExchange reported on July 1, 2025, that PSA Airlines had returned Bombardier CRJ700 serial number 10181 to service under the American Eagle brand after it had been stored in Arizona. The report does not establish that the aircraft was stored for exactly two years, and no primary-source confirmation of the aircraft-specific claims was located.
What the report says about the aircraft
AviaExchange identifies the aircraft as a CRJ700 with serial number 10181 and says it had been stored in Arizona before returning to service under the American Eagle brand. These details are claims in the outlet’s July 1, 2025 report, not independently confirmed information. Read the AviaExchange report.
What is not established
The report does not give a tail registration, an exact return-to-service date, or dates marking when the aircraft entered and left storage. It also does not provide a maintenance history, test-flight details, route assignment, or the aircraft’s present status. The headline’s wording does not establish a precise two-year storage period.
No primary-source confirmation of serial number 10181, its Arizona storage history, or its return to service was located. The report should therefore be treated as a report about the aircraft, rather than confirmation from PSA Airlines, American Airlines, the FAA, or the manufacturer.

What CRJ storage guidance can—and cannot—tell us
A CRJ700/900/1000 maintenance-manual excerpt hosted by Scribd describes long-term storage procedures covering up to two years. It directs operators to consult the manufacturer’s engineering department for storage beyond two years and says calendar inspection tasks that come due during storage can be carried over and completed before return to service. View the manual excerpt on Scribd.
This is general maintenance guidance, not a record of work on serial number 10181. It does not verify how long the aircraft was stored, what maintenance it received, or what steps were completed before its reported return.
