Pre-owned Rolex Oyster Perpetual Celebration dials are being quoted at high prices in 2026, but the published figures are estimates from different sources, currencies and sizes. They are not a verified market price. The two most cited numbers are a £11,500 estimate for a turquoise Celebration Oyster Perpetual in a January 2026 valuation trends document from Doerr Valuations, and a $23,000 to $26,000 estimate for a Celebration 41 in a SwissWatchExpo dealer guide reflecting February 2026. Neither shows what a typical buyer pays, and the available evidence does not confirm that a rising number of these watches is reaching the market.
What the Celebration dial is
Celebration is a multicolored dial motif used on Oyster Perpetual watches. Rolex’s official brochure search result documents a turquoise-blue Celebration motif on an Oyster Perpetual 36, reference M126000-0009. A dealer guide also lists a Celebration 41. The 36 mm and 41 mm sizes are therefore the two configurations the sources support. Whether other sizes or references exist is not established here, so check any listing’s reference against Rolex’s own documentation.

Be careful with similar names. Rolex’s current collection page shows multicolored dials in 36 mm and 41 mm under the label “Jubilee motif.” Nothing in the available sources states that this label and “Celebration” refer to the same dial. Treat them as separate until a Rolex document or a dated listing links them.
What Rolex says about the current range
Rolex’s corporate newsroom describes the current Oyster Perpetual range as spanning 28, 31, 34, 36 and 41 mm, and guaranteed waterproof to 100 metres (330 feet). It uses calibre 2232 in the 28, 31 and 34 mm models and calibre 3230 in the 36 and 41 mm models. The newsroom’s wording on the case reads:
The Tool Desk
Outbyte Driver Updater FREEFix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Outbyte PC Repair FREEClear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →#1 Best Overall
“The Oyster Perpetual’s Oyster case, 28 mm, 31 mm, 34 mm, 36 mm or 41 mm in diameter and guaranteed waterproof to a depth of 100 metres (330 feet), is a paragon of robustness and reliability.”
The water-resistance figure describes the current collection. It says nothing about the present water resistance of a used watch, which depends on its age, seals and service history.
Current Rolex list prices are not a Celebration MSRP
Rolex’s US collection page, accessed October 9, 2026, lists the following steel Oyster Perpetual prices. These are current standard collection prices, not a historical retail price for the Celebration configuration.
| Case size | Steel price (USD, Rolex US collection page, accessed October 9, 2026) |
|---|---|
| 28 mm | $6,200 |
| 31 mm | $6,300 |
| 34 mm | $6,400 |
| 36 mm | $6,750 |
| 41 mm | $7,050 |
The SwissWatchExpo guide gives an approximate retail comparator of $6,500 for the Celebration 41. That figure is the dealer’s own and does not match Rolex’s current 41 mm steel price. Because the configuration, date and source all differ, do not use either number to calculate a “Celebration premium.”
The high figures, side by side
The two estimates differ in currency, date, configuration and method. The table sets them out with the basis each source states, and leaves blank nothing that the source did not provide.

Read the two estimates as separate reports. Neither is an average, and neither should be presented as a transaction price. The Bob’s Watches row explains what a stronger measure looks like, but it does not supply a Celebration number.

The premise in the headline, that these watches are starting to appear on the secondary market, is plausible. The sources do not prove it, however. They discuss pricing, but none quantifies how many Celebration watches are being sold, and none shows that supply has risen. No production-volume figure and no Celebration-specific scarcity statistic is available. High prices do not, on their own, indicate a shift in supply.
For the same reason, these estimates should not be read as a forecast. They describe what some sellers and valuers said in early 2026. They say nothing reliable about future value.
How to check a pre-owned Celebration before paying
- Confirm the exact reference and case size. Match the listing against Rolex’s documentation. The turquoise 36 mm model is listed in Rolex’s brochure under M126000-0009. A listing with a different reference or size needs a written explanation before you go further.
- Establish whether the price is an asking price or a sale price. A listing shows what a seller wants. A completed transaction shows what a buyer paid. A valuation estimate is neither, and it should be labeled as such.
- Check the seller’s status separately. Rolex’s official Oyster Perpetual model page states that only official Rolex retailers are allowed to sell and maintain a Rolex watch. That does not make every secondary-market seller authorized, so ask for proof of authorization if it matters to you.
- Verify condition, year, provenance, and box and papers. Bob’s Watches notes that condition, configuration, age, provenance, and box and papers all affect value. Two watches with the same reference can differ substantially on these points.
- Get authenticity and return terms in writing. Confirm the seller’s authenticity guarantee and return window before payment, not after.
What would change the picture
- Dated completed-sale prices for an exact Celebration reference and size, in a single currency.
- Transparently sampled asking prices from several sellers over a stated period, labeled as asking prices.
- Any published count of Celebration watches in circulation or entering resale, which would test the premise that supply is rising.
Until one of these exists, check current listings for your exact reference before relying on any single figure.
