A second detailed 15 June 2026 cutoff table gives €80.30m at that date and €84.80m in the current-value column, a reported increase of €4.50m (5.6%). These are different date-based views, not values to combine into one comparison.
Is the £33.98m figure current?
The available sources do not verify £33.98m or identify its date or exchange-rate basis. The Transfermarkt figures above are denominated in euros; they should not be equated with that sterling figure without a documented valuation date and currency conversion. How does Birmingham compare with other Championship clubs?
Transfermarkt says its competition start page lists clubs by total market value, but the available page excerpts do not provide a complete current ordered table. They therefore do not establish Birmingham City’s current rank or support a precise claim about which clubs are above or below it.
The 1 July 2026 historical cutoff table places Birmingham ninth in that dated comparison. That is a historical position, not a verified current rank. Compare every club using the same season and valuation snapshot date. Keep the source currency and the source’s squad-inclusion rules consistent, and consider squad size alongside total value: a total alone does not show how many players it covers. Label the date clearly, since the Birmingham figures differ between the 15 June and 1 July cutoffs, and historical tables may include clubs with different league designations at the time.
