Tom’s Guide reviewed the 20 oz YETI Rambler as part of its 2025 travel-mug coverage. The publication called it a best choice for color selection, but that finding is one reviewer’s assessment—not a head-to-head ranking of all Rambler tumblers.
For broader model specifications, YETI Canada’s comparison page displays 591 ml and 887 ml tumblers. Its product details are Canadian-market specifications; they should not be read as confirmation of current US pricing or availability. Choose the 20 oz model when fit matters most
The reviewed 20 oz Rambler is the best-documented choice here for someone prioritizing a cupholder-friendly shape and a compact form. Tom’s Guide reports a 3.5-by-7-inch size and a 12.8-ounce weight. Check your own vehicle’s cupholder dimensions if fit is essential; the reviewer’s finding is not a guarantee for every car or holder.
Consider a larger capacity for fewer refills
YETI Canada lists 591 ml and 887 ml tumblers. A larger capacity can suit a longer commute or desk use if you want to refill less often, but it also means carrying a larger vessel. Compare the dimensions on the manufacturer’s page against your bag, cupholder and hand-held comfort rather than choosing by capacity alone.

Match the lid to how you carry the drink
A Rambler tumbler with MagSlider lid is designed for drinking and reducing splashes, not for sealed transport. YETI explicitly describes it as leak-resistant, not leakproof: liquid can spill if the tumbler is tipped or jostled. For carrying a drink loose in a bag or where it may be turned over, a tumbler is the wrong use case; consider a leakproof bottle instead of assuming its lid seals.
Know what the materials and maintenance claims mean
YETI describes Rambler drinkware as stainless steel with double-wall vacuum insulation and a No Sweat design. Its comparison page identifies the displayed Canadian tumblers as 18/8 stainless steel and dishwasher safe. YETI says MagSlider lids are dishwasher safe and may also be cleaned by hand. Follow the care guidance for the specific model you own.

Tom’s Guide notes that the reviewed 20 oz model has no rubber base. That matters if you want a soft contact surface on a desk or less noise when setting a cup down; it is a reviewer’s observation about that model, not a verified feature statement for every Rambler size.
