Gemini’s investor biographies say both brothers graduated from Harvard University with bachelor’s degrees in economics in 2004. They later received MBAs from the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School in 2010.
Both rowed for the United States. Gemini’s investor biographies say they represented the country in the men’s pair at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing and finished sixth. Gemini’s official author biography also says the brothers were members of the U.S. men’s national rowing team.

Gemini’s February 2026 leadership update
On February 5, 2026, Gemini announced that Cameron would take over revenue-generating responsibilities previously associated with the chief operating officer role. The company said it did not plan to fill the COO role at that time. The same update named interim leaders for finance and legal. These were the company’s announced plans on that date. Check Gemini’s current management page or its later SEC filings before describing any change made since then.
What the IPO filing shows
An SEC filing excerpt covering Gemini’s September 2025 initial public offering identifies the twins as co-founders and principals of Winklevoss Capital Fund, LLC. It states that they received an aggregate 75,085,013 Class B common shares in exchange for interests in the predecessor company, including interests associated with WCF notes and term loans.

That number is a count of company shares tied to a securities exchange. It does not tell you what the brothers personally own in total, what their shares are worth today, or what their wealth is in other assets.

If you need a number, look for a dated estimate from a named publisher and check the following before relying on it:
- Estimate date: Net-worth figures move with share prices and crypto markets, so an estimate from months ago may no longer be accurate.
- Who made it: Name the publisher. A media ranking, a company filing, and a self-reported figure are not interchangeable.
- Scope: Confirm whether the figure is for one twin or both combined, since many estimates are not split.
- Asset classes: Separate publicly traded company shares, digital assets, and private investments. Each is valued differently and some are illiquid.
