That is a historical figure. Iheanacho left the club in 2024 and joined Sevilla in July 2024, so the estimate does not describe a current Leicester wage.
What the estimate covers
The estimate has two separate parts: fixed pay and bonuses. Capology reported both for 2023–24, and they should not be blended into one number without saying so.
| Component (2023–24) | Estimated annual amount | Weekly equivalent | Source and status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fixed gross salary | £4,160,000 | £80,000 | Capology estimate, not an official club figure |
| Estimated bonuses | £624,000 | Not stated | Capology estimate, reported separately from fixed pay |
| Estimated total pay (fixed plus bonuses) | £4,784,000 | Not stated | Capology estimate of total annual pay; a bonus-inclusive figure, not the salary itself |
If you are quoting the salary, the £4.16 million figure is the one to use. The £4.784 million total is the better answer only when the question is about overall estimated earnings.
Who produced the numbers, and how far to trust them
Capology is a football salary-tracking site that publishes estimates built from outside reporting. Its own disclaimer states that salary amounts are estimates and are not official. Leicester City has not published a contract figure for Iheanacho, so no official disclosure exists to check the estimate against.

A later wage ranking from LeicesterCity.news, dated 9 September 2024, reports 2024–25 player figures attributed to Capology. Iheanacho does not appear in that list. That is consistent with the earlier estimate being a 2023–24 snapshot rather than an ongoing Leicester wage, but it does not confirm the amount itself.
Why “at Leicester City” now refers to the past
The question is written in the present tense, but the club relationship ended in 2024. The key dates are:
Rank #2
- Officially Licensed
- Relaxed Fit
- Dropped shoulders
- 1" Neckband
- June 2024: Leicester announced that Iheanacho would leave when his contract expired and would not be signed to a new deal.
- 31 July 2024: Iheanacho joined Sevilla.
- September 2024 onward: Leicester wage lists no longer include him.
Any salary you attach to Leicester City should therefore be dated to the 2023–24 season, and it should be described as a Capology estimate rather than Leicester’s reported payroll.

What the estimate cannot tell you
- It does not show the terms of any contract signed after 2024, because none was reported for a Leicester role.
- It does not show what Iheanacho earns at Sevilla. Nothing in the available sourcing gives a figure for that club.
- It does not separate guaranteed pay from performance incentives beyond the single bonus estimate Capology gave.
