Fast Track Trading was a futures proprietary trading firm that described its offer as instant-funded accounts. It is not a current account-buying option: a statement attributed to founder and CEO Scott Trieste, reproduced in a November 2024 forum thread, said the company had ceased operations. The British Columbia Securities Commission (BCSC) later published a caution entry naming the firm.
What was Fast Track Trading?
Fast Track Trading was a futures prop firm. In a closure statement reproduced by the Aeromir Discussion Forums, the company described its offer as instant-funded futures accounts. “Instant funding” refers to the offer as described in that statement; the available sources do not establish the firm’s complete historical account lineup or rules.
In particular, they do not verify Fast Track Trading’s former fees, drawdown calculations, payout eligibility or timing, platform support, or whether accounts used simulated or live funds. Those details should not be inferred from the phrase “instant funded.”
Is Fast Track Trading still operating?
A forum thread started on November 7, 2024, reproduces a statement attributed to Scott Trieste, identified there as the firm’s CEO and founder: “It is with a heavy heart that I share the news that Fast Track Trading has officially ceased operations.” The statement is reproduced by the forum; it is not independently authenticated here through an original company page or archived copy. The BCSC subsequently published a caution entry dated January 24, 2025.

As a result, this is a guide to the firm’s history and status, not a recommendation to buy an account. The closure announcement said active account holders could contact a refunds inbox. That records what the announcement said, not whether refunds were ultimately paid.
What did the BCSC caution say?
The BCSC’s January 24, 2025 entry states that Fast Track Trading was not registered with the commission and advises extreme caution before handing over money. This statement is specific to the BCSC; it does not establish the firm’s registration status in every jurisdiction. The Canadian Securities Administrators’ alert index identifies the BCSC as the issuer of the alert.

The entry supports the regulator’s stated registration status and caution. It does not, by itself, establish fraud, intentional nonpayment, insolvency, or how much money may have been owed. The closure announcement’s mention of a refund contact likewise does not confirm that refunds were completed or establish a refund rate.

No. Fast Track Trading and Instant Funding are separate firms. Current rules or help pages published by Instant Funding describe that company, not Fast Track Trading’s historical offer. They cannot be used to fill gaps in Fast Track Trading’s former account rules or payout terms.

Anyone comparing active prop firms should verify each firm’s own current terms, including evaluation requirements, whether accounts are simulated or live, drawdown and breach rules, payout conditions, fees, prohibited practices, and legal and operational status. A comparison with Fast Track Trading would not be reliable without verified historical terms for the closed firm.
