Tiger Woods’ reported net worth, PGA TOUR official money, historical worldwide winnings, and estimated all-source career earnings are different measures—not one interchangeable total.

As of October 8, 2026, Tiger Woods’ estimated net worth is about $1.3 billion, according to an estimate attributed to Forbes by GOLF.com. That is not the same as career earnings: the PGA TOUR lists $120,999,166 in official money, while a separate estimate puts Woods’ on-course and off-course career earnings above $2 billion. The latter is not an official or audited total.

How much is Tiger Woods worth?

GOLF.com reported in 2026 that Forbes estimated Woods’ net worth at about $1.3 billion. The figure is an estimate, not a publicly available audited balance sheet. Net worth represents the value of assets after liabilities; it is not the sum of all the money earned over a career. GOLF.com’s report attributes the estimate to Forbes.

For that reason, a figure for career earnings can be much larger than a net-worth estimate. Earnings accrue over time, while net worth reflects what remains after expenses, taxes, investments, and debts.

What are Tiger Woods’ career earnings?

There is no definitive all-source career-earnings total in the reviewed sources. The available figures describe different categories and periods, so they should not be added together or treated as interchangeable.

The PGA TOUR number is the clearest current figure for official money on that tour. It is not Woods’ total income from golf worldwide, endorsements, or business interests. The worldwide-winnings figure is a dated historical total, not an update to the current tour profile. Celebrity Net Worth’s much larger figure attempts to include off-course income, but it remains a secondary estimate.

Why estimates of his earnings vary

Golf statistics track prize money within defined competitions and tours. They do not necessarily capture endorsements, business income, or other payments. All-source career-earnings estimates combine categories that are not presented as a single audited accounting in the sources cited here.

Net worth is a different measure again: it estimates wealth remaining at a point in time, rather than gross income accumulated over a career. Without a public audited balance sheet and a definitive all-source earnings statement, neither a precise net-worth figure nor a single official career-earnings total can be established from these sources.

How Woods built wealth beyond tournament winnings

GOLF.com’s 2026 account says the vast majority of Woods’ estimated wealth comes from off-course pursuits. It identifies sponsorships and business interests including Nike, TaylorMade, Bridgestone, Monster Energy, 2K Sports, Rolex, Sun Day Red, TGR Design, and TMRW Sports, along with payments connected to PGA TOUR programs and roles. These examples help explain why official tour money is only one part of the financial picture; the cited report does not provide an audited breakdown of his assets and income.

GOLF.com estimates that Woods received approximately $500 million from his 27-year Nike relationship, based on reported contract details. That is a reported estimate, not an officially disclosed lifetime payment. The same report cites a $100 million equity payment in 2024 and about $45 million in Player Impact Program payments over the initiative’s existence. Those amounts are reported in GOLF.com’s account and should not be read as a complete or audited income statement. GOLF.com’s 2026 feature.

Celebrity Net Worth’s 2026 estimate assigns roughly 90% of its estimated career earnings to endorsements and business ventures. That proportion belongs to its own secondary calculation; it is not a verified accounting of Woods’ income mix.
