Those are asking prices—not confirmed sale prices.
How Gulfstream V asking prices changed during 2024
Hagerty Jet Group’s quarterly reports show lower average asking prices as the year progressed. Each figure is a dated market snapshot, not a continuous valuation of any particular aircraft.

What model year can tell you about price
Model year is one useful comparison point. AvBuyer, reporting Aircraft Bluebook Summer 2024 data, put approximate average prices at about $7 million for a 1995 GV and $10.5 million for a 2002 GV. The sources describe different scopes: Hagerty’s Q4 report says the 189-aircraft fleet was built from 1997 through 2002, while AvBuyer’s Bluebook summary includes a 1995 model. These figures should not be collapsed into a single claim about the GV’s production years.
Asking price is not the same as sale price or valuation
An asking price is what a seller advertises, not proof of the amount ultimately paid. Hagerty’s Q4 2024 report records 22 net aircraft for sale and four transactions, but does not list the closed prices. Its $8.947 million average therefore answers what listed GVs were asking at the year-end snapshot—not what a typical buyer paid or what any specific aircraft was worth.

Hagerty also reported that the GV fleet’s average value depreciated 13.2% year over year from Q4 2023 to Q4 2024, and 3.2% quarter over quarter. Those are fleet-average depreciation figures, not a guaranteed change in an individual aircraft’s asking price or resale proceeds. The report does not provide enough detail to calculate condition-, maintenance-, equipment-, or configuration-specific adjustments.

How to use the 2024 figures
- For a year-end market reference, use the Q4 average ask of $8.947 million and the $8.495 million–$10.5 million advertised range.
- For context within 2024, compare the dated Q1, Q3, and Q4 snapshots rather than treating one quarter’s average as a year-long price.
- For a model-year comparison, the Summer 2024 Bluebook figures reported by AvBuyer indicate a higher approximate average for the 2002 model than for the 1995 model; they are not aircraft-specific quotes.
- Do not treat these figures as a purchase offer, completed-sale benchmark, or individualized valuation. The cited market summaries do not establish completed prices or quantify adjustments for a specific aircraft’s condition and equipment.
