Parts catalogs show different seller prices for a 2024 Prologue high-voltage battery pack, illustrating why a listing is not a fixed Honda customer-pay price:

Ask for a written estimate tied to your VIN that itemizes the pack, core charge, labor, related parts, taxes, warranty coverage, and any rental or loaner arrangements.

Check warranty coverage before paying for a replacement
Honda’s U.S. Prologue page states that the high-voltage battery has an 8-year/100,000-mile limited warranty. It says gradual capacity loss is expected and is not covered; greater-than-normal degradation may be covered subject to the warranty’s applicable limitations. Have an authorized Honda dealer evaluate the vehicle before treating a warning or reduced range as proof that the complete pack needs replacement. The dealer can diagnose the condition and determine whether warranty terms apply. Make sure you are discussing the right battery
The high-voltage traction battery that powers the vehicle is different from the small 12-volt battery. A parts retailer lists the Prologue’s H5/600CCA 12-volt battery separately from the high-voltage pack. HondaPartsNow parts listing Confirm which battery the diagnosis and estimate refer to before comparing prices.
