How can I contact Uphold support?
Uphold’s Help Center offers two main ways to contact support: submit or follow up on a ticket in the app, or use a webform on the Help Center website. The app’s Help section logs you into the Help Center automatically. See Uphold’s contact instructions, last updated July 1, 2026.

Uphold says it commits to responding within 24 hours and generally replies in less than 12 hours. That is the company’s stated response expectation, not a guaranteed resolution time; it warns that unusually high request volume can cause delays.
Can I reach Uphold by phone?
Uphold lists +1 (888) 831-1780 as phone support for California residents only. The listed hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Pacific Time, excluding U.S. federal holidays. Uphold does not describe this as a worldwide or 24/7 hotline.

Does Uphold offer customer service by email or live chat?
Uphold’s current contact article describes app tickets, Help Center webforms, and the California-only phone line. It does not promise general live chat or publish a direct customer-service email address for every customer. Uphold says it sends email and push notifications when a ticket is updated; receiving ticket emails is not the same as having a public support email address.

How do I submit a support ticket or track its status?
- In the app: Open Help, then tap My Tickets. The app logs you into the Help Center automatically.
- On the web: Open Uphold’s Help Center and submit the relevant request form. Choose the unable-to-log-in route if you cannot access your account.
- For updates: Return to Help > My Tickets or sign in to the Help Center to review the ticket. Uphold says it sends email and push notifications when there is an update.
Read the request form’s warning before submitting: some request types may lead to account restrictions while Uphold conducts a manual review.
What should I do if I can’t log in or have a 2FA problem?
If you cannot sign in, first check Uphold’s status page for a service issue. Then follow the official instructions for login and two-factor authentication problems. The article says users who have lost access to their email and cannot log in can submit a ticket through a form so Uphold can verify their identity.

Use Uphold’s official help pages to confirm which domains it uses to contact customers; those approved domains can change. Do not disclose your password, 2FA code, or recovery phrase in a call or support ticket.

Use the separate formal complaint process when you intend to file a complaint, not to ask a general question or request an update on an existing ticket. Uphold lists complaint methods and voicemail numbers by region, including the EEA, UK, and U.S. For a complaint-line voicemail, Uphold says its team will follow up using the email address associated with the account.
