On StubHub, “Instant Download” means the seller supplied the ticket file or information in advance so it can be delivered soon after purchase. It does not guarantee immediate access: StubHub says these tickets may take up to 15 minutes to become ready. Check your order’s delivery instructions, because the steps depend on the ticket format.
How Instant Download works
StubHub describes Instant Download as a seller workflow: “With Instant Download, you’ll upload your tickets when you list them for sale, instead of waiting to receive a sale notification email to deliver them.” The advance upload is intended to let tickets be delivered within minutes of a sale. Availability and delivery conditions can vary by location and ticket type. StubHub’s seller policy
Even with the label, a short wait is possible. StubHub says instant-download tickets may take up to 15 minutes before they are ready to download. Check the order status rather than assuming the ticket will appear as soon as payment is complete. StubHub Support: Order delivery status
Instant Download is not the same as a mobile transfer
“Instant Download” describes how the seller makes a ticket available; it does not tell you that every ticket is a mobile ticket or that it will appear in the same place. StubHub supports several formats:

What the label does—and does not—promise
The label indicates a delivery workflow in which the seller has provided ticket information ahead of the sale. It is not a guarantee of zero wait, a promise that the ticket will be a PDF, or a promise that it will be delivered through the StubHub app. StubHub says delivery methods vary by event, and its policy notes that conditions can vary by location and ticket type.
