VTU’s official result-publication document shows a link for the December 2018/January 2019 examination results and records the route students could use to find them: open the results portal, select the applicable scheme, then choose the relevant programme and semester listing. The record does not establish the results’ original declaration date, and the legacy page may no longer be available.
How to check the December 2018/January 2019 result
-
Open the VTU results portal. The university’s result-publication document reproduces the link text “Click Here for December-2018 / January-2019 Examination Results.”
-
Select the scheme that applies to your course, such as CBCS or non-CBCS.
-
Choose the relevant programme and semester result listing. The historical portal image includes ordinary and revaluation result categories; check that you have opened the listing that matches your result.

VTU describes the portal as a route for students at its affiliated, constituent and autonomous colleges. Its document gives CBCS B.E./B.Tech as an example of a scheme-specific listing. VTU result-publication document
What the portal timestamp means
The portal screenshot reproduced in the university document displays “Results updated on :10/01/2020 @ 07:00 PM.” That is the update timestamp shown on the screenshot; it is not evidence of the original declaration date for the December 2018/January 2019 results. The official material cited here does not establish when VTU first published those results.
If the old result page is unavailable
Go to the VTU official homepage for current university information. The university lists Examination Enquiry at 0831-2498136 and [email protected]; contact details can change, so confirm them on the site before relying on them.
Why a result may not appear on a transcript yet
VTU’s online FAQ says: “Results of the most recent examination will appear on the Transcript only after revaluation results of that exam are announced.” This describes transcript timing. A missing transcript entry by itself does not show that the online result was never declared. VTU Online FAQ
