The VC Founders Summit was announced as a founder-and-investor gathering in Singapore on 21 September 2024. Organizers promoted startup pitches, investor networking and discussions of AI and web3; the available event listings do not establish what was ultimately delivered or who attended.
What was the VC Founders Summit?
It was promoted as a conference connecting startup founders with venture capital investors, alongside Token2049 in Singapore. The announcement described a startup showcase, opportunities to pitch and network with investors, and an evening rooftop afterparty with a Formula One theme. Those details describe the advertised plan, not confirmed event results. ZEX PR Wire’s 31 July 2024 announcement called it a Token2049 side event.
When and where was it held?
The summit was scheduled for 21 September 2024. Event listings place it in Singapore, but they do not agree on a specific venue:
- ZEX’s event listing gives Marina Bay and a 14:00–23:00 schedule.
- The Aspire Capital-hosted Luma listing names The Fullerton Hotel Singapore and indicated registration was sold out and closed.
- Promotional material also refers to Marina Bay Sands, so the listings do not establish a final venue.
Because the summit date has passed, old registration and ticket references are not current opportunities.

What was on the advertised program?
Promotional listings described a startup showcase and pitch opportunity, with a six-minute pitch slot specified on Luma. Planned discussion areas included artificial intelligence, blockchain and web3, compliance, real-world assets and web3 gaming. ZEX also promoted investor networking and the rooftop afterparty. The available listings do not confirm which sessions or activities took place.
Who was listed as a speaker?
Promotional speaker lists varied. The ZEX announcement and Luma listing name overlapping but non-identical groups; names appearing across them include Aly Madhavji, John Gu, James Wo, Joanna Liang, Colin Allison, Mohammed Waseem, Evan Luthra and Karnika E. Yashwant. Luma additionally lists Gaurav Dubey, Brian Mac Mahon, Matthias Mende and Amit Mehra. These are names in event promotion, not a verified record of who appeared or spoke.

The reviewed event announcement and listings establish the scheduled date and advertised purpose, but they do not verify attendance, the final agenda, delivered sessions, investments, fundraising or other outcomes. They also provide no substantiated attendance or deal figures. Aspire solutions or Aspire Capital is identified with the event in listings and organizer-linked promotion, though the materials use both names. Aspire Capital’s LinkedIn post promoted the gathering as a Token2049 side event in Marina Bay and thanked sponsors and partners.
