To use Samsung Rewards points on a qualified purchase, sign in to the Samsung Account that holds the balance on Samsung.com or in the Shop Samsung app, then apply points at checkout if the option is offered. Samsung Wallet has a separate Cash back awards flow for offers shown in that app; the two routes are not necessarily interchangeable.
Redeem points at Samsung.com or in the Shop Samsung app
- Sign in using the Samsung Account associated with your Rewards balance.
- Add an eligible, qualified product to your cart and proceed to checkout.
- Look for the option to apply Samsung Rewards points to all or part of the qualified purchase. Samsung says checkout may display the points available and the corresponding discount. The option can depend on the product and account, so check the offer shown on your order.
- Review the updated total before placing the order. Points cannot pay shipping, taxes, or other fees, and Samsung’s US terms say they cannot reduce the product price when Samsung Financing is selected.
Samsung’s US terms allow points to be used for products on Samsung.com or in the Shop Samsung app after they have been received in the account. Eligibility restrictions apply, and Samsung can modify the program. See the Samsung Rewards Program Terms and Conditions and Samsung Rewards FAQ for current terms.
Use the separate Samsung Wallet Cash back awards flow
Samsung Wallet has its own interface for viewing cash-back awards and offers. Samsung’s instructions do not establish that every Rewards point balance or checkout discount will appear there; follow the offers displayed in your Wallet account.
- Open Samsung Wallet and tap All.
- Tap Cash back awards.
- Open More options (the three vertical dots), then choose Redeem cash back.
- Tap View offers to browse available offers, or select a balance shown there.

What your points are worth at checkout
Samsung US Support lists one point as worth $0.005 on Samsung.com or in the Shop Samsung app. By that published rate, 200 points correspond to $1 off in those channels. Samsung says the value may change under its internal policy; points cannot be exchanged for cash, so treat this as a current checkout discount rate rather than a guaranteed cash value. The FAQ does not state a publication date. Check the balance and discount presented at checkout.
When points become available, expire, or return to your account
Newly earned points may be pending
Points from qualifying purchases may not be available immediately. Samsung’s FAQ says they are credited after the applicable return period. Its US terms also describe transaction confirmation, closure of any chargeback, and a 15-day wait after the end of the purchase month. Samsung Order Help says points become usable after the 15-day product return period. Because these conditions differ by transaction, do not assume a particular posting date; check the account balance. See the US terms, Rewards FAQ, and Samsung Order Help.

Points expire on a schedule
Samsung Order Help describes points as expiring 36 months after they are earned. The formal US terms specify expiration at the end of the calendar month three years after earning, so the calendar-month rule is the more precise description. Returns and cancellations can reverse redeemed points
If you return an eligible product, Samsung says redeemed points are reversed after the item reaches its warehouse and is inspected. Order Help says returned points arrive within five days after Samsung receives and processes the return; that timing depends on receipt and processing. For an order canceled before shipment, the FAQ says reversal occurs within a few days after Samsung’s system receives the cancellation. See Samsung’s Rewards FAQ and Order Help.

Who can participate in the US program?
The US terms describe eligibility for residents of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands who are at least 18 and have a valid Samsung Account. Samsung says non-US eligibility and redemption depend on local law and local program terms, so US rules should not be assumed to apply elsewhere. The terms also say new Samsung Accounts have been automatically enrolled since January 2021; older account holders may need to register. Check the Samsung Rewards Terms and Conditions for applicable program rules.
