The National Testing Agency (NTA) declared the UGC-NET June 2024 result on 17 October 2024. To check your result or look for the scorecard and certificate, visit the official UGC-NET portal and find the June 2024 links under Candidate Activity. The title’s ugcnet.ntaonline.in address is not the official portal listed in NTA’s result notice; use the official NTA portal instead.
How to check the UGC NET June 2024 result
- Open the official UGC-NET portal.
- Look under Candidate Activity for the UGC-NET June 2024 “Download Score Card” or “Download Certificate” link.
- Use the relevant June 2024 link to access the scorecard or certificate.
The portal lists both candidate activity links. Their public listing does not guarantee that every candidate can still access an individual account. If a link or account does not work, use the help or contact route on the official portal. Do not share login credentials or personal result details with unofficial sites.

What the qualification categories mean

UGC-NET determines eligibility, not a job appointment or university admission. The relevant institution or authority sets and applies its own requirements. The official portal also states that candidates qualifying only for Assistant Professorship are not eligible for the award of JRF.
How NTA prepared the result
NTA said that challenges to provisional answer keys were verified by experts and that results were prepared using the answer keys finalized after expert review. The June 2024 Information Bulletin explains that candidates had to appear in both papers and meet minimum aggregate thresholds—40% for General and General-EWS candidates and 35% for the specified reserved categories—before subject- and category-based allocation calculations. For papers held in multiple shifts, raw marks were converted into NTA Scores (percentiles) for further processing.
Those rules and the overall result totals cannot establish an individual candidate’s outcome. Check your official scorecard and the relevant official subject- and category-wise cut-off information.

The June 2024 Information Bulletin says there is no re-evaluation or re-checking of the result. It describes answer-key challenges as a pre-result process: experts review challenges, a final answer key is used to prepare the result, and answer-key grievances are not entertained after the result is declared. NTA also states that eligibility criteria and candidate documents are subject to verification under the Information Bulletin.
