The UCMS Junior Assistant application is no longer open. The University College of Medical Sciences extended the 2026 application deadline to 29 August 2026; as of 8 October 2026, that date has passed. The subsequent application-fee refund window also ended, and UCMS’s refund portal displays “CLOSED.”
Is the UCMS Junior Assistant application still open?
No. UCMS’s official careers listing records an extension notice dated 20 August 2026 and gives 29 August 2026 as the application end date. Applicants cannot rely on the old “apply now” wording to submit a new application.
The original 2026 Junior Assistant advertisement was listed as notice UCMS/NE105/2026/Adv.01, dated 22 May 2026. Check the UCMS careers listing for any later recruitment notice or official update.
What happened after the application deadline?
UCMS listed a Junior Assistant application-fee refund notice and an online refund link on 29 August 2026. The notifications listing gives 18 September 2026 as the refund end date. The official Junior Assistant refund portal now displays “CLOSED.”

Do not confuse the 2026 notice with the earlier cancellation
UCMS’s notifications listing also includes a cancellation notice dated 8 September 2025 for an earlier Junior Assistant recruitment under Advertisement MC/CCS/NT-II/2024. That notice concerns the 2024 cycle; it is separate from the 2026 recruitment notice UCMS/NE105/2026/Adv.01.

They do not establish the recruitment’s detailed eligibility requirements, vacancy count, pay, application fee, exam pattern, or selection stages.
