The UGC NET June 2025 exam city intimation slips were released in June 2025, so they are not still “expected soon.” NTA dated the notice for the 28 June exam 21 June and the notice for the 29 June exam 23 June. Candidates accessed the slip on the official UGC-NET portal with their Application No. and Date of Birth. The slip gave advance information about the exam city; it was not the admit card.
When the June 2025 city slips were released
NTA issued separate notices for different examination dates, so there was no single release date for all candidates established by these notices.
| Scheduled exam date | Notice date and availability |
|---|---|
| 28 June 2025 | Notice dated 21 June 2025; city slip available effective that date (NTA public notice). |
| 29 June 2025 | Notice dated 23 June 2025; city slip available effective that date (NTA public notice). |
The 21 June notice described the June session as a computer-based test covering 85 subjects from 25 to 29 June 2025. Those dates and the subject count are the figures NTA stated in that notice, not a general schedule for other UGC NET cycles.
How candidates accessed the city intimation slip
- Visit the official UGC-NET portal.
- Open the June 2025 city-intimation or candidate activity link for the applicable exam date, if available.
- Enter the Application No. and Date of Birth requested by NTA, then view or download the slip.
- Read the slip and check the examination city against your scheduled exam date.
- If you could not access it, contact NTA using the help details in the relevant notice.
The notices identify the portal and required credentials but do not establish exact button labels, and they do not guarantee that the historical login endpoint remains open now.

What the city slip did—and did not—tell candidates
The city intimation slip gave advance information about the city where the examination centre would be located. It was not the document used in place of the admit card, and the notices do not establish that it supplied the final centre address.
“The Candidates may please note that this is NOT the Admit Card for the examination.”
— NTA public notice, 21 June 2025
NTA said the admit card would be issued later. Candidates should therefore distinguish advance city information from the admit card and its centre-entry details.
Help with access problems
The June 2025 notices listed NTA’s helpdesk at 011-40759000 and [email protected] for candidates who had difficulty checking or downloading the slip. Because these are historical contact details, confirm the current contact information on the official NTA portal before using it for a later examination cycle.

Where the June 2025 cycle stands now
As of 8 October 2026, the June 2025 cycle is no longer at the advance city-slip stage. NTA’s site lists June 2025 certificate and score-card services alongside the final answer key and past city-intimation and admit-card notices (official UGC-NET portal). The portal has also moved on to later cycle activity; for a current exam, use its latest dated notice rather than applying the June 2025 dates as a timetable (official UGC-NET portal).
