Kingdom Come: Deliverance II passed two million copies sold in under two weeks, Warhorse Studios announced on February 17, 2025. That was a launch milestone—not its current lifetime total: later reports put sales above three million within three months and above five million within the first year.
When did Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 reach two million sales?
Warhorse Studios announced the two-million milestone on February 17, 2025, 13 days after Kingdom Come: Deliverance II launched on February 4 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The studio described the achievement as “Two million copies in under two weeks!” in its February 17 Steam announcement.

Embracer Group, the game’s parent company’s corporate group, had reported on February 13 that sales topped one million copies in the first 24 hours and were approaching two million. Warhorse’s announcement four days later confirmed that next threshold. These are copy-sales figures; the cited announcements do not state revenue or profit.
How the sales milestones compare
| Milestone | Reported timing | Source |
|---|---|---|
| More than 1 million copies | First 24 hours after launch | Embracer Group, February 2025 |
| More than 2 million copies | Under two weeks after launch | Warhorse Studios, February 17, 2025 |
| More than 3 million copies | Within three months of launch | Embracer Group, 2025 annual report |
| More than 5 million copies | Within the first year | Embracer Group, reported by Game Developer in February 2026 |
The later figures put the February 2025 announcement in context: two million was an early milestone, not a present-day sales total. The five-million figure was reported as a first-year result, while the three-million figure was reached within three months.

What the two-million figure does—and does not—tell you
The milestone is a reported number of copies sold. The announcement does not break sales down by platform, country, physical versus digital copies, or revenue. It therefore cannot show which platform contributed most or how much money the game generated.
Warhorse Studios developed Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, and Deep Silver published it. It launched on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S in Standard, Gold, and Collector’s Editions. Those release details do not change the scope of the sales announcement, which gave a total rather than a platform or edition breakdown.
