Trump Media & Technology Group’s shares, which trade as DJT, were reported at record-low closing prices in June 2026—but the available reports disagree on the exact date and figure. The Daily Beast reported a $7.52 close on June 24; a later StatMuse Money historical result lists a lower $7.06 close on June 25. Because those figures conflict and the latter is not confirmed here by an official exchange record, the definitive record low remains unsettled.
What company and stock does “Truth Social stock” refer to?
Truth Social is operated by Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG). The company’s publicly traded shares use the ticker symbol DJT. TMTG’s investor-relations FAQ says the shares are dual listed on Nasdaq and NYSE Texas: Trump Media investor-relations FAQ.
The company became public through its business combination with Digital World Acquisition Corp. The transaction closed on March 25, 2024, and DJT began trading the following day, March 26, according to the company’s investor-relations materials and an SEC-filed exhibit: SEC-filed investor-relations FAQ exhibit.
What was DJT’s reported all-time low?
The available accounts do not establish one definitive record. A June 25, 2026, Daily Beast report said DJT closed at $7.52 on June 24, below a previously reported low of $7.76. A later StatMuse Money historical-price result lists a $7.06 lowest close on June 25. The later figure is lower, but it is a secondary data result and is not confirmed here against an official exchange record: The Daily Beast report and StatMuse Money historical result.

| Reported figure | Price measure | Date | Source and qualification |
|---|---|---|---|
| $7.52 | Closing price | June 24, 2026 | The Daily Beast reported it on June 25 as a new low, below the then-reported prior low of $7.76. |
| $7.06 | Lowest closing price listed | June 25, 2026 | StatMuse Money’s later historical-price result; secondary data, not confirmed here by an official exchange record. |
These are closing-price figures, not necessarily the lowest prices reached during trading. “All-time low” can mean an intraday low or a lowest closing price, and the two measures can differ. A reliable comparison needs the same measure, trading date, data provider, and adjusted or unadjusted price basis. The available reports do not resolve all of those details, so it would be too strong to present either figure as a verified, unqualified record.
Why did DJT fall to that level?
The sources cited here do not establish a specific cause for DJT’s June price decline. Company results and strategy announcements offer business context, but they do not prove what drove trading on a particular day. A stock price reflects market trading and expectations; a reported loss, strategic change, or other company event should not be treated as the proven cause of a move without evidence tying it to that move.

What do Trump Media’s latest reported results show?
TMTG’s second-quarter 2026 results cover the quarter ended June 30, 2026. In its SEC-filed release, the company reported $1.7 million in revenue and a $238.1 million net loss. It said $190.4 million of the loss came from unrealized losses on digital assets, pledged digital assets, and equity securities. The same release reported $1.9 billion in financial assets: Trump Media’s SEC-filed Q2 2026 results release.
These figures measure different things. Revenue is income from business activity; net loss includes expenses and other gains or losses; financial assets are holdings, not revenue. In particular, the company’s characterization of much of the loss as non-cash does not make the loss irrelevant, nor does the asset total by itself establish what DJT shares are worth.

In an August 10, 2026 results release, Interim CEO Kevin McGurn said the company was refocusing after expanding into other industries. He described the decision this way: “We made the disciplined choice to pivot in order to invest more time and resources in our most important initiatives,” adding, “We will say no to things or change course as warranted.” Those are management’s statements about strategy, not an independent assessment of likely results: Associated Press coverage of the August 10 strategy announcement.
TMTG’s Q2 release also said Truth+ had entered full commercial availability, Truth Social was entering an expanded content phase, and Truth API had generated revenue with more than ten customer agreements signed. These are company-reported claims; they do not establish the value of those agreements or predict future performance: Trump Media’s SEC-filed Q2 2026 results release.

How can you check DJT’s price history?
- Choose the price measure. Decide whether you want the lowest intraday trade or the lowest closing price; do not compare one with the other.
- Confirm the trading date and source. Compare records for the same session from an exchange or a clearly identified market-data provider. Note when a page was accessed and whether it reports adjusted or unadjusted historical prices.
- Separate historical data from a live quote. A Stock Analysis historical-price page accessed October 8, 2026, listed an October 7 close of $8.22; its October 8 page showed trading in progress, not a final close for that date: Stock Analysis DJT historical prices.
- Check company filings for business context. Financial statements can help explain the company’s condition, but they cannot by themselves verify a market-price record or identify why the share price moved on a specific day.
