Trader Joe’s official 2023 materials highlight a few seasonal arrivals and popular customer favorites, but they are not a complete list of products launched that year. The clearest new-product example is Mini Maple Flavored Marshmallows, which the company said arrived in early September for a limited time. Its Customer Choice Awards named other notable products, but those were established favorites—not 2023 launches.
Which Trader Joe’s products were new in 2023?
Trader Joe’s Fall 2023 Shopping List episode covered both new and returning seasonal products. It specifically described Mini Maple Flavored Marshmallows as new for that season, vegan, and made without gelatin. The company said they arrived in early September and were available for a limited period. Those details describe the product and its availability in 2023, not what is on shelves today. The 14th Annual Customer Choice Awards episode identified customer favorites; its awards are not a list of new launches. Trader Joe’s called these five products the inaugural class of its Customer Choice Products Hall of Fame:

- Peanut Butter Filled Pretzel Nuggets
- Mandarin Orange Chicken
Tara Miller, Trader Joe’s director of words and phrases and clauses, explained that these Hall of Fame products were no longer eligible for votes. The Fall 2023 episode’s availability statements are historical. It does not establish whether the marshmallows or any returning seasonal items are currently sold, have come back in a later season, or have been discontinued.
