No available evidence establishes which of these four projects will lead a future bull run. They serve different purposes—payments, oracle and cross-chain infrastructure, Ethereum scaling, and a DAG-based proof-of-work network—so the useful comparison is what each does, what has actually been delivered, and whether its token economics and adoption support a case for value. Project announcements and ecosystem activity alone cannot predict token returns.
What these four crypto projects do
| Project and token | Primary role | What the available sources establish |
|---|---|---|
| BlockDAG (BDAG) | DAG-based proof-of-work network | Its project pages describe a network, tokenomics and roadmap milestones; its 2024 litepaper also set out plans for ecosystem features. |
| Chainlink (LINK) | Oracle, data and cross-chain infrastructure | Chainlink’s own 2025 retrospective reports integrations and partnerships, but does not establish value captured by LINK holders. |
| Arbitrum (ARB) | Ethereum scaling platform | Its technical documentation describes how its chains execute transactions and rely on Ethereum for settlement and, in Rollup designs, data availability. |
| Bitcoin Cash (BCH) | Peer-to-peer payment currency | The project website presents BCH as electronic cash and states a maximum supply of 21 million coins. |
These are not interchangeable bets. A payment network, a data-oracle service, an Ethereum scaling platform and a newer proof-of-work project have different users, dependencies and ways—if any—in which activity might create demand for their tokens. A fair investment comparison needs more than a bull-market narrative.
What would determine which project leads a bull run?
There is no comparable independent evidence here that ranks all four by 2025 price return, liquidity or adoption. Nor do the project materials establish a future market leader. To make a defensible comparison, choose a time horizon and evaluate the same kinds of evidence for each asset:
- Usage and adoption: Look for independently measured activity over matching time periods, and distinguish actual usage from partnerships, announcements and roadmap plans.
- Token economics: Check circulating supply, unlock schedules, emissions and any relationship between network use and token demand. A functioning product does not automatically mean its token captures value.
- Security and trust: Compare the relevant proof-of-work, settlement, data-availability, oracle, bridge and governance assumptions rather than treating “crypto” as one security model.
- Liquidity and access: Verify current exchange support, custody options, fees and legal availability for your country. These can vary by asset, provider and jurisdiction.
- Execution: Separate a deployed feature from a target or announced plan. A roadmap is evidence of intent, not proof of delivery.
BlockDAG: a proof-of-work project with milestones to verify
What it is and what has been announced
BlockDAG describes itself as a DAG-based proof-of-work network. Its mainnet roadmap labels the token generation event complete on 11 February 2026 and lists staking and exchange milestones afterward. Those are statuses published by the project; a listed milestone should not be mistaken for independently verified adoption or a forecast for BDAG.

The project’s 2024 litepaper included a 2025 roadmap for stablecoins, staking, lending and borrowing, swaps, cross-chain bridging and a launchpad. Because that roadmap is historical, its inclusion does not show that any of these features went live. Check current, independent evidence for each feature before counting it as delivered.
Supply information has an unresolved inconsistency
BlockDAG’s tokenomics page states a total supply of 150 billion BDAG, but its allocation figures conflict internally. The displayed breakdown assigns 25 billion to presale, while later prose says 50 billion; the page also gives different community-allocation numbers. Do not rely on a single allocation percentage or infer the distribution from that page without a reconciled, dated disclosure.

- Smart backup: Use your second Tangem Wallet as your Backup keys with end‑to‑end encryption; no more papers, pictures. If one card is lost, the remaining can still restore full access, with an optional seed phrase available for advanced users.
- Engineered to last up to 25 years: Waterproof (IP69K), shockproof and tested for extreme temperatures from −25°C to 50°C. A durable cold wallet with long‑term protection and independently audited security.
- Trusted by 6 million users worldwide (4.9 App Store, 4.8 Google Play) - buy, sell, swap, stake, and spend cryptocurrency directly. The secure offline storage wallet designed for how people actually use crypto wallets
That uncertainty matters because supply distribution, unlocks and the link between network use and token demand are central to assessing a token—not merely details of a project description. The cited project materials do not establish that BDAG will outperform the other assets.
Chainlink: reported infrastructure integrations, not a LINK return forecast
What Chainlink’s 2025 retrospective reports
Chainlink provides oracle, data and cross-chain infrastructure. Its year-end 2025 retrospective, last updated 31 December 2025, reports activity and integrations involving S&P Global Ratings, WisdomTree, Coinbase, Base and Lido, among others. For example, Chainlink says Coinbase selected CCIP for Coinbase Wrapped Assets and describes Base’s CCIP integration for its Base–Solana Bridge.

These examples are useful evidence of activity as reported by Chainlink, but the retrospective is project-authored. A named integration does not by itself show how much usage it produces, how durable that usage is, or how it translates into value for LINK holders. It therefore cannot establish that LINK will lead the next bull run.
What to examine in an investment case
For LINK, distinguish infrastructure adoption from token economics: investigate whether usage creates measurable token demand, and compare that evidence with supply, liquidity and security considerations over a defined period. The cited retrospective does not provide a comparable independent return or adoption ranking for these four assets.

Arbitrum: Ethereum scaling with distinct trust models
Rollup and AnyTrust are not the same design
Arbitrum’s technical documentation describes Arbitrum as a platform running on top of Ethereum. Arbitrum executes transactions; Ethereum provides settlement and data availability for Rollup chains. AnyTrust uses a different normal data-availability model that relies on a committee, so it does not offer the same decentralization and trustlessness guarantees as a Rollup.
This distinction is relevant when comparing applications or chains built on Arbitrum: the label “Arbitrum” alone does not tell you which data-availability assumptions apply. And network utility should not be conflated with the investment case for ARB; the architecture does not, by itself, show that ARB holders capture value from usage.

Its 100x statement is a target, not a result
In a post published 13 May 2025, Arbitrum named performance, unification and decentralization as scaling pillars. It said: “The long-term target for performance is to increase the throughput of Arbitrum applications by 100x.” This is Arbitrum’s stated long-term target, not an achieved or independently measured increase.
Bitcoin Cash: electronic cash by design
Purpose and supply
The Bitcoin Cash project website positions BCH as “Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash” and states that the protocol has a fixed maximum supply of 21 million coins. That gives BCH a more directly payment-oriented role than the infrastructure projects in this comparison.
Check performance claims against dated measurements
The project website also makes claims about fees, confirmation times, uptime and privacy. Treat those as claims made by the project, not as an independently measured comparison with the other three assets. A useful assessment would require dated measurements under stated conditions; those claims alone do not determine whether BCH is more useful, more adopted or a stronger investment.
How to compare them without pretending they have the same job
Start with the use case you want exposure to, then test whether the evidence supports the token investment—not just the underlying technology or project narrative.
Quick Recap
- Define the question. Decide whether you are comparing payment use, infrastructure adoption, scaling capacity or speculative upside, and set a time horizon.
- Verify what is live. For each claimed product or integration, look for evidence of deployment and ongoing use. Treat roadmap items and stated targets as plans until verified.
- Trace token value capture. Establish whether and how usage affects demand for the specific token, then examine supply, emissions and unlocks. Do not assume that a network can succeed while its token appreciates at the same rate.
- Compare risk models. Review each project’s security and trust assumptions, including dependencies on Ethereum settlement or data availability, oracle and bridge systems, proof-of-work, committees and governance.
- Use comparable market data. For adoption, liquidity and performance, use independent sources and matching dates and definitions. The project materials summarized here do not provide a common dataset for ranking these assets.
- Check local access. Confirm that the asset and the services you would use to buy, hold or transfer it are available and lawful where you live.
