Julia and Eric Roberts topped Market Realist’s September 5, 2023 ranking of Hollywood brother-sister duos, with a reported combined estimated net worth of $259 million. Peter and Jane Fonda followed at $240 million. These are estimates published by one outlet—not audited totals or confirmed current fortunes.

Hollywood’s richest brother-sister duos in Market Realist’s 2023 list

The table reproduces the amounts Market Realist reported on September 5, 2023. “Combined” is the article’s reported total for the two siblings; the individual amounts are also the figures given in that article. They should be read as historical estimates, not as verified financial disclosures.

Rank Siblings Reported individual estimates Reported combined estimate
1 Julia and Eric Roberts Julia: $250 million; Eric: $9 million $259 million
2 Peter and Jane Fonda Peter: $40 million; Jane: $200 million $240 million
3 Shirley MacLaine and Warren Beatty Shirley: $50 million; Warren: $70 million $120 million
4 Jake and Maggie Gyllenhaal Jake: $80 million; Maggie: $25 million $105 million
5 John and Joan Cusack John: $50 million; Joan: $20 million $70 million
6 David and Patricia Arquette David: $24 million; Patricia: $30 million $54 million
7 Evan Ross and Tracee Ellis Ross Evan: $25 million; Tracee: $16 million $41 million
8 Jason and Justine Bateman Jason: $30 million; Justine: $6 million $36 million

Market Realist’s full list attributes some individual estimates to outside net-worth estimate publishers, including Wealthy Genius, Wealthy Gorilla, and Celebrity Net Worth. The article does not provide one consistent valuation method or primary financial disclosures for every sibling.

How to interpret the ranking

The figures belong to the ranking published in 2023. They are not 2026 estimates, and their order is not a definitive industry ranking. Celebrity net-worth estimates can vary by publisher, and the Market Realist article does not establish that its figures were calculated on a common basis. Treat the totals as a snapshot of what that article reported, rather than as confirmed measures of either sibling’s assets.

Why newer celebrity-sibling lists do not update this one

A December 23, 2025 Showbiz Cheat Sheet article about celebrity siblings uses a broader selection of people and different sourcing, including individual Celebrity Net Worth estimates. It also cites an Arka study’s $2.765 billion estimate for the Kardashian-Jenner family. That is a wider family aggregate, not a directly comparable brother-sister duo total, so it does not confirm or revise Market Realist’s 2023 ranking.

Published wealth figures can have dates and labels that clarify what they represent. For example, Forbes’ profile of Laurie Tisch labels her figure “Real Time Net Worth” and gives an as-of date. That profile is not a combined estimate for any of the sibling pairs above; it illustrates why a wealth figure’s source and date matter.
