Rogers’ current plans page does not show the advertised $50/100GB or limited-time $55/125GB BYOD offers. It currently lists 5G+ Lite at $50 a month for 60GB and 5G+ Essentials at $55 a month for 100GB; both displayed prices require Rogers Internet or TV service and the Auto-Pay discount. Confirm any different promotion directly with Rogers before switching or signing up.
What Rogers currently lists for BYOD plans
Rogers describes the listed prices as applying to new activations when customers bring their own phone. The prices shown on its current 5G mobile plans page are conditional: customers must have Rogers Internet or TV service and receive the Auto-Pay discount.
| Plan | Displayed monthly price | High-speed data | Included usage outside Canada |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5G+ Lite | $50, with Rogers Internet or TV and Auto-Pay | 60GB, then reduced-speed data | Canada data, talk and text |
| 5G+ Essentials | $55, with Rogers Internet or TV and Auto-Pay | 100GB, then reduced-speed data | US data, talk and text for 24 months |
| 5G+ Popular | $70, with Rogers Internet or TV and Auto-Pay | Unlimited high-speed data | US, Mexico and Caribbean data, talk and text |
| 5G+ Ultimate | $85, with Rogers Internet or TV and Auto-Pay | Unlimited high-speed data | Data, talk and text in 64 destinations |
Rogers’ page does not establish that the first two plan tiers currently have the $50/100GB and $55/125GB combinations in the headline claim. A promotion may differ by eligibility, location or timing, but the current page reviewed does not verify those terms. Check the offer details Rogers presents for your account and address, including its expiry date, before relying on a promotional price.
How to compare the displayed prices with your actual bill
The plan-page amounts are not unconditional standalone prices. Before comparing them with another carrier or your existing plan, check whether you qualify for both the home-service and Auto-Pay conditions and what the recurring monthly charge will be if either condition changes. Taxes and additional fees may apply under Rogers’ offer terms.

Also distinguish the single-line price from extra-line pricing. On Essentials, Rogers lists $55 per month for a second line, $45 for a third, and $35 for a fourth or later line, after Auto-Pay discount and when bringing your own phone. These are additional-line prices, not a lower replacement price for a single line.
- Compare the price you will actually pay after discounts, including any bundle requirement.
- Match the high-speed data allowance to your use; a larger total allowance is not equivalent to unlimited high-speed data.
- Check the roaming destinations and how long a benefit applies. Essentials’ listed US usage lasts 24 months.
- If adding lines, use the price for the relevant line number rather than the single-line headline amount.
What happens after you use the high-speed data
Under Rogers’ reviewed offer terms, data continues at reduced speeds of up to 512 kilobits per second after the high-speed allowance is used, through the end of the billing cycle. Rogers says it sends usage notices at 90% and 100% of the allowance. At that reduced speed, data remains available, but bandwidth-intensive tasks may feel substantially slower than they do at full speed.

Included features and coverage requirements
Rogers says its listed plans include 5G+ network access, unlimited Canada-wide talk and text, unlimited international texts, Spam Call Detect and HD video streaming. Access to 5G requires a compatible device, a 5G SIM and coverage; plan terms also apply. The features and roaming listed for a tier are not interchangeable, so check the individual plan details rather than assuming the lowest-priced option includes the same travel coverage as a higher tier.

Rogers’ summary of the CRTC Wireless Code says postpaid customers receive a service agreement and critical information summary. It also describes a 15-day trial period, extended to 30 days for customers who self-identify as having a disability. Read the agreement and confirm how to return or cancel service during the trial.

The Wireless Code information also describes a $50 domestic data overage cap and a $100 data-roaming cap. The roaming cap applies to pay-per-use roaming data; Roam Like Home remains available. See Rogers’ Wireless Code explanation for the applicable details.
