Which RRB ALP CBT-2 rescheduling notice is this?
The relevant notice is for Assistant Loco Pilot recruitment under CEN 01/2024. It was dated 19 March 2025 and applied to CBT-2 Shift 1, which had been scheduled for 20 March 2025. The notice said the revised date would be notified shortly; it did not state that date in the notice information available here.
The RRB Secunderabad official notice listing also records a broader CBT-II rescheduling notice dated 5 April 2025, relating to exams scheduled for 19 and 20 March, followed by later CBT-2 candidate notices. Those listing entries confirm further updates were posted, but do not establish the exact replacement date in the available text. Do not treat 20 March as the revised date: it was the date on which the affected Shift 1 exam had originally been scheduled.
How CEN 01/2024 differs from the later ALP cycle
RRB ALP recruitment notices belong to specific CEN cycles. The CEN number matters: dates for one cycle do not apply to another.

Where to check your exam date and candidate links
Use the official RRB website responsible for your recruitment and confirm that the notice carries the correct CEN number. For personal exam information, rely on the relevant cycle’s official candidate links rather than an unauthenticated message or repost.
For CEN 01/2025, the revised schedule dated 29 January 2026 said the exam-city/date information and SC/ST travel-authority link would be available 10 days before a candidate’s final exam date. E-call-letter downloads were to begin about four days before that date. These timings apply to that schedule; they should not be assumed to apply to CEN 01/2024 or another recruitment cycle.

- Identify your cycle. Check the CEN number on your application, admit-card information or official recruitment notice.
- Open the official RRB notice listing for that cycle. Look for the rescheduling notice and any later city-intimation, travel-authority or e-call-letter notices.
- Use the date shown in the applicable official update. For the CEN 01/2024 Shift 1 notice, the available text establishes that the 20 March 2025 sitting was rescheduled, but not its replacement date.
- Check again before making travel plans. Follow the applicable RRB’s official candidate links for personal details and travel information.
The revised CEN 01/2025 schedule, attributed to the Chairpersons of the Railway Recruitment Boards and dated 29 January 2026, advises candidates to refer only to official RRB websites for recruitment updates.
