HIO Music lists Arabian Prince as its Chief Innovation Officer (CIO). In its November 2024 announcement, the company said he would focus on improving the user experience and developing ideas for artists and listeners, including ways to empower them financially. The appointment is confirmed; specific initiatives he has delivered in the role are not established by the available sources.
What Arabian Prince’s appointment means
HIO’s current website lists Arabian Prince as CIO and identifies him as a founding member of N.W.A. The site also describes him as a songwriter, rapper, producer, DJ, technologist, gamer, animator, futurist and blockchain pioneer. Those biographical descriptions are HIO’s own.
In its November 21, 2024 announcement, HIO described the role as a focus on enhancing the platform’s user experience and developing solutions for artists and listeners. That sets out the company’s stated aims, not proof that a particular feature, payment model or financial outcome has since been delivered.
Why HIO Music’s business model matters to the story
HIO presents itself as a creator-focused music platform. Its website says, “100% of subscriptions fees go to the Artists and Rights Holders you listen to,” and uses the slogan “On a mission to get creators paid.” These are company claims and positioning; the available sources do not independently verify how subscription revenue is accounted for or what artists receive in practice.

The site also claims that HIO has 6 million songs under license and 100 million “on the way.” Those are HIO’s current website claims, indexed circa 2026, not independently audited figures. The second number describes a planned catalog, not songs already available. HIO’s November 2024 release separately described a catalog of more than six million licensed songs, but that historical figure does not establish the platform’s present catalog size.
What listeners can take from the announcement
HIO’s November 2024 release named Arabian Prince’s album Innovative Life and single “Panic Zone” as works available on the platform. That makes them relevant starting points for listeners interested in his music, but the announcement does not establish whether a physical edition is currently available or confirm the platform’s present catalog or app availability.

The same 2024 release said the app was available through the Apple App Store, Google Play and Solana Saga’s dApp store at that time. Those are historical availability details, not confirmation of where the app can be downloaded now.

The clearest takeaway is that HIO has given Arabian Prince a leadership role tied to product experience and innovation. The announcement connects that remit to artists and listeners, while HIO’s own site frames its business around creator compensation. But the sources do not document specific completed projects, independently measured user-experience improvements or verified changes to artist earnings. The appointment alone cannot establish those outcomes.
