The “last date to apply” in the original notice for Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) Agriculture Department Recruitment 2024 was 19 November 2024—not today. The 2024 application windows have passed. Although a later report said registration reopened from 29 November to 13 December 2024, neither period is open now. For any current recruitment or result information, check RPSC’s official website and the Rajasthan Recruitment Portal.
What “today” meant for the 2024 application deadline
The headline’s “today” referred to 19 November 2024, the reported closing date of the original application period for RPSC Advertisement 17/2024-25. The original window was reported as 21 October to 19 November 2024. A later report said the registration window would reopen from 29 November to 13 December 2024, so 19 November was not the final reported opportunity to register. Both periods have ended. How many vacancies were announced?
The advertisement, issued on 16 October 2024, was reported to cover 241 vacancies across four broad role families: Assistant Agriculture Officer (AAO), Statistical Officer (SO), Agriculture Research Officer (ARO) and Assistant Agriculture Research Officer (AARO). What the reported application fees were
Scroll.in’s 19 November 2024 report listed an application fee of ₹600 for General (Unreserved) and creamy-layer BC/OBC applicants and ₹400 for the reserved categories and persons with disabilities specified in its report. These are reported figures, not a substitute for the fee schedule in the official advertisement. Do not infer an exemption or apply the reported amount to a category not expressly covered there.
What the later examination correction said
A correction issued by RPSC on 26 May 2025 described a two-paper multiple-choice examination. This is later exam information, not part of the November 2024 deadline announcement.

The correction states: “Negative marking shall be applicable in the evaluation of answers.” It specifies a deduction of one-third of the marks assigned to a question for a wrong answer. Candidates should use the official correction and any later notices for the applicable scheme.
