Which yacht is Amphitrite?
This profile concerns the 2001 Turquoise yacht, not every vessel that uses the name Amphitrite. Feadship’s official fleet page describes a separate Amphitrite launched in 1974 and measuring 28.03 metres: Feadship’s fleet entry. Its identity and specifications should not be confused with the larger Turquoise vessel.

What is reported about Rowling’s connection?
Yachting Pages and YBW reported that Rowling bought Amphitrite in 2016. YBW said she had chartered it with her family before buying it. How did the yacht get its name?
Coverage identifies the yacht’s earlier names as Anatolia and Vajoliroja before Amphitrite. Reports also identify actor Johnny Depp as a previous owner, and YBW says the yacht was renamed Amphitrite in 2015. Those details describe the vessel’s reported history; they do not establish its current owner. Has Amphitrite been for sale or charter?
Superyachtblog reported in 2016 that the yacht had been available for charter. A 2021 report described it as listed for sale.
