APSC scheduled the Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination, 2024 for Sunday, June 8, 2025. The two papers were set for 10 a.m.–noon and 2–4 p.m. The Assam Public Service Commission’s admission-certificate upload date was May 19, 2025; these dates have passed, so candidates seeking a current APSC schedule should check for a newer commission notice.
APSC CCE 2024 Prelims exam date and paper timings
In a notification dated April 11, 2025, the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) set both preliminary papers for Sunday, June 8, 2025.
| Paper | Date | Scheduled time |
|---|---|---|
| General Studies I | June 8, 2025 | 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. |
| General Studies II | June 8, 2025 | 2:00 p.m.–4:00 p.m. |
These are the timings in the APSC notification issued April 11, 2025. The notice scheduled the examination at 35 district headquarters across Assam.
When the roll-number list and e-admission certificates were due
APSC said it would upload the candidate list with roll numbers on May 15, 2025, followed by e-admission certificates on May 19, 2025, on its website, apsc.nic.in. The notification said: “No e-Admission Certificates shall be sent separately by post.” Candidates therefore needed to access the certificate online rather than wait for a mailed copy. The stated upload dates are historical, not upcoming release dates.

The dates above describe the 2024 cycle’s preliminary exam programme as announced in 2025. They do not establish the timetable or certificate dates for a later APSC examination cycle. For a current schedule, rely on a newer APSC notice rather than treating the old May 19 upload date as a future release. A contemporaneous Scroll report published April 14, 2025 also reported the June 8 exam date and May 19 certificate date.
