How to download the CGPSC SSE Mains Result 2023
- Go to the CGPSC website: psc.cg.gov.in.
- Open the result section or look in the site’s New section for “Written Exam Result – State Services (Mains) Exam – 2023.”
- Open the result PDF and search for your name or roll number.
- Save or download the PDF for your records. Printing it is optional.
The commission website is the authoritative place to check. The specific older result link’s current availability has not been confirmed, so if it is no longer accessible, look for the notice on the site or contact CGPSC through its official channels. A later final merit-list PDF is a separate document and is not a substitute for this Mains shortlist.
What the Mains result means
The “2023” in the result title identifies the examination and recruitment cycle; it does not mean the written papers or result were issued in 2023. The Mains examination was held June 24–27, 2024, and the result announced October 1, 2024. Scroll.in reported that 703 candidates were shortlisted for interview for the recruitment drive’s 242 vacancies. Scroll.in’s result report gives these historical dates and counts.
Mains shortlist vs. final merit list
| Document | Publication date | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Written Exam Result – State Services (Mains) Exam – 2023 | October 1, 2024, as reported by Scroll.in | Identifies candidates shortlisted for interview. |
| Final merit list | November 29, 2024, as reported by Navbharat Times | Lists the outcome after interviews held November 18–28, 2024. |
The dates and stages are reported in Navbharat Times’ final-result coverage. If you are checking whether you qualified for interview, use the Mains written-result notice; the final merit list addresses a later stage.

What the result reports establish
The contemporary reports establish the announcement date, shortlist count, vacancy count, and examination dates. They do not establish whether the Mains PDF includes individual marks or cutoff information, or whether later corrections were made. For the current official record, rely on the CGPSC website rather than an old link reproduced elsewhere.
