CBSE scheduled the Superintendent and Junior Assistant recruitment examinations for April 20, 2025. Junior Assistant was assigned the morning shift and Superintendent the afternoon shift. The date has passed; check CBSE’s recruitment page for notices about any later recruitment cycle.
CBSE exam date 2025 and shift for each post
CBSE announced the schedule in a public notice dated February 24, 2025, following its vacancy notification of December 31, 2024. The schedule was:
| Post | Exam date | Shift |
|---|---|---|
| Junior Assistant (Group-C) | April 20, 2025 | Morning |
| Superintendent (Group-B) | April 20, 2025 | Afternoon |
Both examinations were specified as offline tests using OMR sheets. See CBSE’s February 24, 2025 examination-date notice and examination-format notice for the published details.
What happened after the April examination?
In a notice dated June 9, 2025, CBSE scheduled Superintendent Tier-II in Delhi for July 5, 2025. It also scheduled Junior Assistant skill (typing) tests in Delhi during July 3–5; each candidate’s exact test date was to appear in their application login.

That June notice said admit cards showing the schedule and centre details would be displayed two days before the examination. This was an instruction for that 2025 schedule, not a standing rule for future cycles. See the June 9, 2025 notice for those arrangements.
What Tier-I meant for Superintendent applicants
CBSE stated that Superintendent Tier-I was a screening test for Tier-II. Tier-I marks would not be counted in the selection. This description applies to the Superintendent recruitment process in the cited notice; it does not establish the selection stages for other posts. Read CBSE’s Superintendent screening-test notice for the official wording.

Because April 20, 2025 is a past date, anyone looking for a new exam schedule should check CBSE’s official recruitment page for current-cycle notices and candidate instructions. The 2025 dates and admit-card timing should not be assumed to apply to a later recruitment cycle.
