Because those offers may have ended, treat them as a record of 2025 terms, not a promise about a current purchase. For any product still listed for sale, check the seller’s current terms before assuming a purchase benefits an organization.
“Gives back” can mean a fixed donation, a share of sales or profits, a matched donation of another product, or broader support that is not tied to a particular purchase. Those distinctions matter: a Pride design alone does not establish that a sale funds LGBTQ+ causes. Buying Pride merchandise is optional; donating directly to an organization is another way to support its work.
How to read the giving terms
The 10 brands below are the recommendations covered by Good Good Good’s May 28, 2025 roundup, “Best 2025 Pride merch that gives back — without rainbow washing.” The article’s affiliate disclosure applies to some of its links, but does not establish that every named seller participates in an affiliate program.
Campaign terms can differ substantially. A donation calculated from profits is not the same as one calculated from the full purchase price, and a company’s cumulative giving or workforce statement is not automatically a donation attached to the item you buy. Where a 2025 offer is described below, its date and calculation basis are part of the claim.

Ten Pride merchandise options covered in the 2025 roundup
ACLU: Marsha P. Johnson shirt and drag-queen tote
The roundup highlighted a Marsha P. Johnson quote T-shirt and a reusable Baggu bag reading “Support Your Local Drag Queens.” It said proceeds supported the ACLU’s nationwide transgender-rights work. Bombas: Pride socks and gender-neutral underwear
The roundup said Bombas matched each purchased Pride item with an item donated to organizations serving LGBTQ+ people experiencing homelessness. Levi’s: embroidered accessories and apparel
The 2025 roundup listed embroidered denim hats, tote bags, a jacket, and a T-shirt. It also reported an annual $100,000 donation to Outright International. Lucy & Yak: “The Bonds Between Us”
Designer Amanda Lobos created a graphic T-shirt, jumpsuit, and dungaree shorts for the collection. The roundup said 100% of profits were split among Nai Bhor Sanstha, Nutshell, and ParaPride. BARK: Pride toys for dogs
The roundup described Pride dog toys as available through new or existing BarkBox subscriptions, rather than as a simple standalone retail purchase. It reproduced BARK’s product-page statement that “A portion of proceeds from the Pride collection will go to our friends at Kaleidoscope Youth Center.” The same roundup reported a later CEO apology and an updated pledge that 100% of the collection’s revenue would be donated. Converse: “Proud To Be” collection
The roundup described the “Proud To Be” collection and its nonprofit partners. Converse’s current Pride page reports that it has “pledged and donated nearly $3.4M” to local, national, and international organizations since the campaign and collection began in 2015. Gay Pride Apparel: identity-specific items and home goods
The roundup listed shirts, identity-specific bandanas, embroidered hats, flags, and home goods. It described support for LGBTQ+ organizations through fundraising, nonprofit collaborations, and event sponsorship, but did not attach a specific donation amount or calculation to each listed product. Wildfang: Vivian Wilson collaboration
The roundup featured a Vivian Wilson-designed shirt reading “Existing Shouldn’t Be Revolutionary,” with all profits donated to The Trevor Project. Mythical: LGBTQ+ artist designs

The roundup described a collection of bras, underwear, and swimwear, but explicitly noted that it did not appear to include a Pride-specific donation to an organization. The roundup also quoted the company’s statement, “Our team is 30% LGBTQ+, 77% female-led, and 35% BIPOC,” and described supplier, environmental-certification, and living-wage priorities. Products that support LGBTQ+ communities without a stated per-item donation
Apple Watch Pride Edition Sport Band
Apple’s May 5, 2025 announcement introduced a Pride Edition Sport Band and matching digital designs. It listed a U.S. launch price of $49 and sizes of 40 mm, 42 mm, and 46 mm, with S/M and M/L lengths. Apple said it financially supports organizations serving LGBTQ+ communities, but the announcement did not state that a band purchase triggered a specific donation. Source: Apple, May 5, 2025.
NYC Pride shop
NYC Pride describes its shop as one way to help keep its events free and accessible. Its nonprofit-shop model is different from a commercial brand’s stated per-item promotion. How to decide whether a Pride purchase fits your budget and values
- Check the recipient. Look for a named organization and, where relevant, its mission. “Supporting the community” alone does not say who receives funds.
- Read the calculation base. Confirm whether the promise is a fixed dollar amount, a percentage of purchase price, a percentage of the seller’s receipts, profits, revenue, or a matched product.
- Look for the campaign window and cap. A donation offer may apply only during specified dates or until a maximum amount is reached.
- Check eligibility and availability. Geographic restrictions, subscription requirements, selected products, or a particular storefront can determine whether a purchase qualifies.
- Separate corporate support from product-linked giving. Historical totals, workforce statistics, and general financial support may provide context but do not prove that a particular purchase generates a donation.
- Keep the purchase optional. If the item does not fit your budget, a direct donation to an organization whose work you support is an alternative.
