For an Amazon.com purchase, sign in to the Amazon account used to place the order and check Your Orders. Open the order to review its details and status. If you paid an outside merchant with Amazon Pay, look in Amazon Pay Activity instead.
Find a cancelled Amazon.com order
- Sign in to the Amazon account used to place the order.
- Open Your Orders.
- Review the order list, then select the relevant order to view its details and status.
- If you cannot find the order or its status is unclear, contact Amazon Customer Service for order help. Amazon describes Your Orders as the place to access purchase details and manage orders, including tracking packages, starting returns or replacements, and accessing invoices.
Amazon’s reviewed customer-help guidance does not confirm that every account has a separate cancelled-orders tab or filter. Start with Your Orders rather than relying on a particular filter or archived-orders route.

Check Amazon Pay transactions separately
If you bought from another merchant and used Amazon Pay, the transaction is not an Amazon website order. Sign in to Amazon Pay Activity, find the transaction, and choose Details & Support. Amazon directs customers to Your Orders for purchases made on Amazon’s website.
Amazon Pay defines Canceled as a canceled payment for which you have not been charged. Completed means the payment was processed and charged.

Why a cancelled order may still appear on your statement
After an Amazon.com order is cancelled before it ships, a visible bank entry may be an authorization rather than a completed charge. Amazon’s charge-identification guidance recommends reviewing transaction history and authorization information to identify the entry.
For Amazon Pay, Amazon says an amount may be released automatically after a couple of days if a charge could not be completed, but the timing varies by card issuer and bank. Check the transaction status and ask your bank or card issuer when a pending authorization is expected to clear; Amazon does not give a universal release timetable.
