How to place an Amazon order with Sezzle

Open the Sezzle mobile app and find Amazon. Add the items you want to your Amazon cart.

Return to Amazon checkout and enter the applicable virtual-card details in the payment section.

Which Sezzle virtual card can I use?

Sezzle’s Amazon instructions say Premium transactions are only approved when ordered through the Sezzle app using the single-use card. Because card access and instructions can depend on your plan, use the route currently shown in your Sezzle app rather than assuming a saved multi-use card will work for every Amazon order. Why Sezzle may not appear or approve your purchase
Sezzle does not guarantee that every shopper or cart will qualify. It says payment options are individualized using factors such as account history, item type, and order value. An option may be unavailable if the order exceeds your estimated spending power, falls below a merchant minimum, you have reached an open-order limit, or a payment is rescheduled. Check the offer displayed in the app for your specific order; an unavailable option is not a promise that trying again will result in approval. See Sezzle Shopper Help.

Amazon purchases Sezzle says are ineligible
Sezzle’s Amazon help page lists these categories as ineligible:
- Gift cards
- Wireless service plans
- Alcoholic beverages
- Digital Kindle products purchased as a subscription
- Restaurant-prepared food
- Amazon Appstore purchases
- Prime Now
- Amazon Pay Places
Sezzle and Sezzle Anywhere restrictions also apply. Its eligibility rules can change, so check the cart and current Sezzle instructions before placing the order. The exclusions above are from Sezzle Shopper Help.

What Sezzle may charge
Do not assume that paying in installments will be interest-free or cost the same for every order. Sezzle’s promotional Amazon page gives one example: a $300 Pay in 4 loan with a $75 initial payment and three $75 payments every two weeks, plus a $7.49 service fee and 45.0% APR. Amazon says a payment revision is needed
Sezzle says this can happen if a single-use card was no longer active when Amazon captured the order—for example, because it expired. Its Shopper Help article, “How do I place an order at Amazon using Sezzle?”, updated April 2, 2026, explains: “If you received a notification from Amazon that says payment revision is needed, this is likely because you did not have an active single-use card at the time Amazon captured the order (i.e., it may have expired).” Create a new card or purchase request in the Sezzle app, then follow the payment-revision instructions shown for the Amazon order. The Amazon order is not showing in Sezzle
Allow up to 48 hours for an Amazon authorization to appear in your Sezzle account. In the meantime, check the order status in Amazon and the transaction status in Sezzle rather than placing a duplicate order.
