Time4VPS offers self-managed Linux, Windows, Container and Storage VPS plans, plus a separate managed Linux service. Its low advertised Linux entry price rises at renewal: the Linux 2 example listed at €2.88 per month promotionally and €5.77 per month on renewal when checked in 2026. Servers are described as being in Vilnius, Lithuania, and backups on self-managed Linux plans are optional. That makes the service worth considering if your budget, audience location and willingness to manage a server fit—but check the renewal price, VAT and backup limits before buying.
What does Time4VPS offer?
Time4VPS lists Linux, Windows, Container and Storage VPS plans, along with managed Linux tiers. The provider advertises resource upgrades and 24/7 technical personnel; these are provider claims, not independently assessed support or performance results. It also advertises a 30-day money-back guarantee, but check the current terms at checkout because plan details and guarantee conditions can change. See the Time4VPS VPS plans overview.
How much does Time4VPS cost, including renewal?
The displayed entry price is not necessarily the ongoing price. A representative Linux 2 plan on Time4VPS’s pricing page was listed at €2.88 per month promotional and €5.77 per month on renewal when checked in 2026. Those are page-listed monthly rates, not a guaranteed quote; the offer varies by billing term.
| Plan example | Promotional price | Renewal price | Listed resources | Backup arrangement |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Linux 2 | €2.88/month | €5.77/month | 1 CPU listed at 2.6 GHz, 2 GB RAM, 25 GB storage, 4 TB bandwidth | Optional |
| Managed Linux mini, annual billing | €17.50/month | €27.99/month | 2 vCPU, 6 GB RAM, 50 GB storage; unlimited bandwidth listed | Backups and restoration included, according to Time4VPS |
These are examples from the provider’s pages as checked in 2026, not a price history or a promise that the same offer remains available. The managed Linux figure is specifically the listed annual offer. VAT may be added for EU customers unless they provide a valid VAT number. Time4VPS also lists a three-month minimum for Linux 1. Confirm the selected billing period, VAT treatment and renewal charge on the live plan page and checkout.

What is included with self-managed Linux VPS backups?
Regular backups are optional on the self-managed Linux VPS plans, so do not assume they are included in the advertised plan price. Time4VPS also describes a one-time backup option that can be created without the regular backup component. The provider says this backup cannot be downloaded and can only be restored to the VPS it belongs to. It is therefore not a substitute for an independent copy you control.
For important data, arrange off-provider backups and make sure you know how to restore them. The customer remains responsible for protecting data and confirming that restoration works. Check the current backup options and limits on the Time4VPS Linux VPS page.

How does managed Linux differ?
Managed Linux is a separate, higher-priced offer aimed at customers who want cPanel/WHM administration and CloudLinux. Time4VPS says backups and restoration are included. The page’s listed tiers range from 2 to 6 vCPU and 6 to 16 GB RAM, with 50 GB storage shown for the annual Managed Linux mini example and unlimited bandwidth listed. Confirm what server administration and support tasks are covered before purchase; the listed features do not establish that every administration task is included. Where are Time4VPS servers, and what does its uptime figure mean?
Time4VPS says its Linux VPS servers are in Vilnius, Lithuania. Its Linux page describes a Tier III European data centre, 100 Gbps network capacity, redundancy and DDoS mitigation. These are the provider’s infrastructure descriptions, not a guarantee of application speed. A Vilnius location may suit some European audiences, but whether it provides suitable latency depends on where your users are; the available information does not establish performance from every geography.

In a help article published May 7, 2025, Time4VPS says of its Tier III data centre: “It means that we can offer 99.98% availability.” The same article says the site houses 140 server racks. Treat 99.98% as the provider’s stated availability figure, not an independently measured uptime result or a service guarantee established here. Read Time4VPS’s explanation of its uptime figure.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Who should consider Time4VPS?
- Consider self-managed Linux if you can handle server administration, have checked the renewal rate and have a separate backup plan.
- Compare managed Linux if you want cPanel/WHM and CloudLinux with backups and restoration included, and the higher listed price fits your budget.
- Check location fit by considering where your audience is and whether a Vilnius server location meets your latency needs.
- Get more evidence before relying on it for a critical workload. No independent speed, uptime, support-response or competitor benchmark is established here.
Time4VPS may suit technically comfortable buyers looking for a low-cost VPS in Lithuania, provided they account for renewal pricing and take responsibility for self-managed backups. If you need panel-based administration, compare its managed tiers and confirm their current scope and price. The available evidence does not support a universal recommendation or a performance comparison with other hosts.
