Steam’s Autumn Sale ran from November 27 through December 4, 2024, ending at 10 a.m. Pacific. The prices below are historical regional examples reported during that event—not current offers—and they are useful as a record of what shoppers could find then, not as a live buying guide.
What were the best Steam Autumn Sale 2024 deals?
There was no single objectively best deal across Steam’s global catalog. The sale included thousands of games, and publishers set their own discounts. A useful pick depends on whether a game suits your tastes, what it cost in your Steam region, and how its reported sale price compared with its regular price or discount.

One publisher’s sale
In a November 27, 2024 post, Bohemia Interactive said Arma 3 was 80% off and DayZ was 50% off. Those are examples from that publisher’s catalog, not a comparison with every game on Steam.
How to judge a discount rather than chase the biggest percentage
A large markdown is not automatically the best value if you would not enjoy the game. For a practical comparison, consider three things together:
Rank #4
- For all things Apple - products, accessories, apps, games, music, movies, TV shows, iCloud+, and more.
- Perfect for App Store purchases and subscriptions—get apps, games, music, movies, TV shows, and more.
- The perfect gift to say happy birthday, thank you, congratulations, and more.
- Available in $15 - 500, Card delivered via email or SMS

- Fit: Does the genre, play style, and subject matter appeal to you?
- Your local price: Check the price shown for your Steam region and currency; reports from another region are not a reliable substitute.
- Price context: Compare the sale price with the regular price or percentage off reported for that same region. A discount alone does not establish a historical low or prove that a game is a bargain for you.
Valve’s Steamworks discounts documentation says games can participate in seasonal sales and that a discount of at least 20% triggers an email notification to users who have wishlisted that game. That explains one way Steam surfaces some discounts; it does not mean every sale item had the same markdown.

Yes, but the offer was regional and limited to select LCD models while supplies remained. Valve’s November 27 announcement said EU 64GB Steam Deck LCD units were 15% off, while U.S. and Canadian 512GB units were 25% off. These were historical 2024 hardware offers, not evidence of a current price or availability.
