The prices in the matching deal roundup were reported on October 9, 2025, immediately after that year’s Prime Day event; they are not confirmed current offers. Amazon’s 2026 Prime Big Deal Days ended October 7 PDT, and LEGO’s listed U.S. October promotions also ended October 7, 2026. Neither event confirms that the older prices or any named set are available now. Check the live listing, seller, stock and price history before buying.
What the 2025 post-Prime Day roundup listed
Engadget’s October 9, 2025 roundup named four Star Wars and Super Mario sets. These are historical Amazon prices from that date, not current quotes or guarantees of savings today.
| Set | Set number | Amazon price reported Oct. 9, 2025 | Comparison price reported Oct. 9, 2025 |
|---|---|---|---|
| LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar 2025 | 75418 | $31.49 | $44.99 |
| LEGO Star Wars Brick-Built Star Wars Logo | 75407 | $49.97 | $59.99 |
| LEGO Star Wars R2-D2 Building Toy Set | 75379 | $79.99 | $99.99 |
| LEGO Super Mario Mario Kart Donkey Kong & DK Jumbo Collectible | 72033 | $28.49 | $34.99 |
The roundup also reported “up to 49 percent off” across its selected LEGO offers. That maximum applied to the broader selection, not necessarily to these four sets, and it should not be read as a current discount.
Why those prices are not current deal recommendations
The original “still available” wording referred to offers reported just after Prime Day in 2025. Amazon’s official page says its 2026 Prime Big Deal Days ran October 6–7 and had ended by October 8 UTC; its timing does not establish that any of the 2025 listings or prices remain. LEGO’s U.S. October 2026 offers likewise ended October 7. No current price or stock for the four sets is established here.

Deal prices and inventory can change. A displayed markdown against list price may also be less compelling if the set has sold near that price for months. Engadget noted seeing selected LEGO “sale” prices persist since late spring or early summer 2025, and recommended checking Keepa or CamelCamelCamel for price context.
How to check whether a listing is a deal now
- Open the live product listing. Search by the set number (75418, 75407, 75379 or 72033) to reduce the chance of comparing a different set or bundle.
- Check the seller and stock. Confirm who is selling the item, whether it is available to ship, and the price at checkout. A price shown on a product page may not reflect the final offer or current availability.
- Compare the price with its recent history. Amazon says product detail pages can show up to 365 days of pricing history. You can also consult Keepa or CamelCamelCamel, which Engadget recommended; neither tracker’s current coverage of a particular listing is established here.
- Decide whether the price works for your budget and purpose. Compare the actual price you can buy at—not an old quoted price—with the set’s value to you. If the history shows little change, a crossed-out list price alone is not proof of a meaningful bargain.
Amazon’s guidance also advises checking price history because deal availability can change. A historical discount is useful for context, but it is not a substitute for verifying the live offer.
