A 2003 Ferrari Enzo sold for $17,875,000 at Mecum’s Kissimmee 2026 auction. That is about 2.95 times the $6,050,000 paid for a 2005 Enzo at RM Sotheby’s Monterey sale in 2015, so “tripled” is fair as a rounded description—not an exact threefold increase.
What the Enzo sold for—and what “tripled” means
Mecum’s Kissimmee 2026 results list the 2003 Ferrari Enzo at $17,875,000. The result is roughly 2.95 times the $6,050,000 recorded for a 2005 Enzo at RM Sotheby’s Monterey auction in 2015, according to K500’s compiled results. The increase between those stated prices is $11,825,000.
The comparison is between those two reported auction results. The 2015 figure comes from a specialist results compilation rather than an original auction-house archive page, so it is best described as the previous benchmark used for this comparison, not as a universal claim about every Enzo sale.

The two later 2026 results are useful comparisons, but each is below Mecum’s Kissimmee price. RM Sotheby’s described its Arizona car as one of 498 Enzos built and one of 111 specified for the US market; it had 746 miles and three private caretakers. Those details apply to the Arizona car, not the Mecum example.

What is known about the Kissimmee car
Mecum’s results identify the record-setting car as a 2003 Enzo ordered new by the Bachmans and customized through the factory. The available result listing does not establish its mileage, Ferrari Classiche certification, matching numbers, or winning bidder. Those details should not be inferred from descriptions of other Enzos.

Sotheby’s identifies low mileage, careful stewardship, documentation, Ferrari Classiche certification, and provenance as attributes associated with the most valuable Enzos. These are general collector-market considerations, not confirmed explanations for the Kissimmee result. Without documentation specific to that lot, it is not possible to say which, if any, drove its price.
