Re:

How Much Are the Richest Korean Actors Worth? 2026 Estimates, With a Hollywood Caveat

A 2026 list estimates the wealth of 10 Korean actors, but the publisher’s own pages conflict—and neither establishes a Hollywood-only ranking.

There is no verified ranking of the 10 richest Korean stars in Hollywood: the available 2026 lists estimate wealth for Korean actors generally, without defining a Hollywood-only group. One list puts Kim Soo-hyun at $68 million; another page from the same publisher estimates $117 million. Those figures are publisher estimates, not audited disclosures, and the disagreement is a useful warning against treating celebrity net-worth lists as financial facts.

Who are the richest Korean actors, according to the available 2026 list?

Nubia Magazine’s “Top 10 Richest Korean Actors 2026 & Net Worth (Highest Paid),” updated October 7, 2026, gives the following estimates. They are the publisher’s estimates, not verified personal balance sheets.

Rank Actor Estimated net worth
1 Kim Soo-hyun $68 million
2 So Ji-sub $41 million
3 Lee Jong-suk $32 million
4 Lee Min-ho $26 million
5 Song Joong-ki $24 million
6 Hyun Bin $21 million
7 Park Seo-joon $21 million
8 Lee Seung-gi $16 million
9 Gong Yoo $14 million
10 Ji Chang-wook $12 million

Nubia Magazine’s 2026 top-10 list supplies these figures. The numbers are estimates in US dollars; the page does not provide audited financial statements for the actors.

Why the ranking is not a Hollywood-only list

The label “in Hollywood” is not established by the ranking. The list covers Korean actors generally, without a rule requiring a Hollywood production credit, U.S. employment, or any other consistent definition. A separate Nubia article mentions Korean performers in American films, including Park Seo-joon in The Marvels, but that does not establish that all ten people in the wealth list belong to a Hollywood-defined group.

The Korean Film Council’s Korean Actors 200 introduces actors representing Korean cinema to international film-industry audiences. It is useful for actor and film context, but it is not a wealth ranking and cannot validate net-worth figures.

Two 2026 estimates from one publisher conflict

Nubia Magazine has a separate 2026 analysis, also updated October 7, that estimates Kim Soo-hyun’s wealth at $117 million rather than $68 million. It also names Jo In-sung—not Ji Chang-wook—as the tenth actor, at an estimated $12 million. The two pages therefore disagree on both the highest estimate and the last place in the ranking.

Comparison Top-10 list Separate 2026 analysis
Kim Soo-hyun estimate $68 million, Nubia Magazine, updated October 7, 2026 $117 million, Nubia Magazine, updated October 7, 2026
Tenth-place actor Ji Chang-wook, estimated $12 million Jo In-sung, estimated $12 million
Underlying financial documentation Not stated in the list as audited personal disclosures The page refers to public financial data and industry analyses, but does not show transparent calculations or primary disclosures sufficient to verify the totals

The separate Nubia Magazine analysis does not resolve the discrepancy. The publisher’s own pages are not independent confirmation of one another, so neither Kim Soo-hyun estimate should be presented as a settled figure.

Net worth is not the same as an actor’s salary

A reported fee for one role or episode describes compensation, not total wealth. Hindustan Times’ 2025 roundup attributes to Forbes a report that Lee Jung-jae earned $1 million per episode for Squid Game seasons 2 and 3. That is a reported episode fee; it is not a net-worth estimate and does not establish Lee Jung-jae’s place on a wealth ranking.

Net worth ordinarily means assets minus liabilities, while public coverage may report selected earnings or property without revealing a person’s full financial position. The reviewed rankings do not show sufficiently transparent calculations or primary disclosures to confirm their totals. Treat their figures as rough, attributed estimates, not as precise measures of what an actor owns.
