How Coupert works
Coupert is a digital shopping-assistance service, not a physical product. Its current terms describe coupon and price-comparison tools, cashback and reward opportunities, and an optional Coupert Plus membership. Where technically supported and initiated by the user, Coupert may test promotional codes during checkout. Its App Store listing also describes price-drop alerts. In practice, treat Coupert as another way to check for a possible deal—not as a substitute for reviewing the retailer’s own price, shipping charges and offer conditions.
How to use Coupert without missing a cashback step
- Check the offer before checkout. Review the merchant, cashback rate or offer conditions shown in Coupert, and confirm that the items in your cart qualify.
- Activate cashback through Coupert first. Coupert says cashback must be activated through its service before you complete the purchase. Starting at the merchant without activating the offer may mean the transaction is not attributed to Coupert.
- Complete the purchase without interrupting tracking. Avoid switching to another cashback, rewards or coupon program in the same transaction. Browser settings, ad blockers, seller interactions or other tracking interruptions can also prevent attribution.
- Keep order changes in mind. Returns, cancellations, excluded payment methods and technical tracking failures can affect eligibility. Check the merchant’s and Coupert’s conditions before relying on a reward.
- Wait for validation. Cashback is conditional on merchant confirmation, affiliate-network validation, applicable return or cancellation periods, and compliance review. Coupert says pending cashback typically takes approximately 30 to 120 days, depending on merchant or network processes; that is not a guaranteed payout date. Coupert’s current terms
Coupert says that when more than one rewards service is involved in a transaction, only one may receive credit. A competing service may therefore cost you the Coupert attribution you expected, even if the purchase itself succeeds.

Why a coupon or displayed price may not be the best deal
Coupert describes coupon and price-comparison information as informational, and says offers and prices can change. A code may not apply to every product, cart or shopper; exclusions and order conditions can matter. A displayed comparison may also differ from the price at final checkout.
Before ordering, compare the merchant’s final price, including shipping and any applicable restrictions. Is Coupert safe? What its privacy policy says
“Safe” can mean different things: whether a service handles data as expected, whether its software has been independently assessed, or whether an offer will track correctly. Coupert’s privacy policy describes its own practices; it is not an independent security audit or a guarantee that every transaction will track.
Coupert’s privacy policy, last updated December 29, 2025, says the extension processes shopping-related information on supported websites to provide coupon, price-comparison and cashback functions. The listed information includes the current page URL, product information, displayed prices, coupon-application results and order information. The policy also identifies technical, account, transaction and usage data categories. How to judge Coupert’s savings claims
Coupert’s App Store listing claims 8M+ users, 200,000 online stores, 90,000 new codes added daily and average savings of $600 per year. These are Coupert’s own marketing figures; the listing material reviewed does not provide a methodology for them. Your result depends on whether an offer applies to your particular cart, whether cashback tracking succeeds, and whether the final price beats the alternatives after shipping and restrictions. No typical-user savings figure is established here.
