What is the All-In Podcast’s $1,200 tequila?
Besties All-In Tequila is a five-year Extra Añejo launched by the four All-In Podcast hosts: Jason Calacanis, David Sacks, David Friedberg and Chamath Palihapitiya. The launch event took place at Delilah in Los Angeles on June 21, 2025. TechCrunch reported the launch three days later. TechCrunch’s June 24, 2025 report put the price at $1,200 per bottle and described the release as limited to 750 bottles.
The brand’s product page describes it as pot-distilled from 100% Blue Weber agave grown in Jalisco’s lowlands and aged in white oak ex-whiskey barrels. It lists tasting notes including cooked agave, wood, citrus, dried fruits, butterscotch, vanilla, cacao and toffee. These are product details supplied by the brand, not independent findings about its production or flavor.
The brand also describes a handcrafted, illuminated bottle shaped like a stack of poker chips. It says each bottle is numbered and comes in a numbered collector’s box bearing the hosts’ signatures. The product page displays a claim that the tequila won a 2026 San Francisco World Spirits Competition Gold Medal; that award claim is not independently verified here. The official product page lists the bottle at 750 ml, 40% ABV and $1,200 USD.

Did the Besties All-In Tequila sell out?
TechCrunch reported on June 24, 2025, that the limited release had sold out, citing liquor e-commerce sites. That is a dated report of the launch status, not an independently audited sales record or a claim that the tequila remains unavailable. The reviewed sources do not establish an audited number of bottles sold or realized sales revenue.
Why were the Besties All-In tequila bottles delayed?
Shipping did not immediately follow the June sellout report. In a November 13, 2025 follow-up, TechCrunch reported that shipments had begun during the preceding week, nearly five months after launch. Jason Calacanis attributed the wait to making the handcrafted bottles, telling TechCrunch: “Handcrafted bottles took a bit longer to create than expected, but the bottles started shipping last week!” The report said orders were being fulfilled in batches and did not establish when every order would arrive. TechCrunch’s November 13, 2025 follow-up also identified Flaviar as the distributor.
