The Tesla Cyberbeast is a roughly $100,000 electric pickup that pairs tri-motor acceleration with truck utility—but its quoted price depends on whether destination is included, and its real-world range can fall well short of the estimate. In the U.S. snapshot dated October 8, 2026, Tesla’s configurator displayed $99,990, while Cars.com listed a 2026 Cyberbeast at $101,985 including destination. The decision comes down to whether its performance and equipment justify the premium over other Cybertruck trims for your use.
What does a Cyberbeast cost?
There are two relevant U.S. price figures, and they use different bases. Tesla’s configurator displayed the Cyberbeast at $99,990. Cars.com listed the 2026 model at $101,985, including a $1,995 destination charge. The configurator figure is not the same as a destination-inclusive price; confirm the current amount, destination charge and any incentives before budgeting. On Cars.com’s consistent destination-included basis, the three listed 2026 trims compare as follows:
| 2026 trim | Cars.com price, including destination | Range estimate reported by Cars.com | Relevant distinction |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive | $71,985 | 325 miles | Cars.com reports a 7,500-pound maximum tow rating. |
| Premium All-Wheel Drive | $81,985 | 325 miles | Cars.com says it adds adjustable-height suspension and 11,000-pound towing. |
| Cyberbeast | $101,985 | 320 miles | Tri-motor performance; Cars.com reports a 2.6-second 0–60 mph estimate. |
These are Cars.com’s listed prices, including its stated $1,995 destination charge, not a guarantee of the price a buyer will receive. Its review describes the base AWD as having 18-inch wheels and adaptive dampers, and Premium and Cyberbeast as having 20-inch wheels and adjustable-height suspension. Cars.com says Premium adds synthetic-leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, a rear passenger screen and a 15-speaker audio system; it describes Cyberbeast as sharing that equipment while adding a motor and power. How far does the Cyberbeast go on a charge?
Cars.com reports a 320-mile estimate for Cyberbeast and 325 miles for the dual-motor versions. Those are vehicle estimates, not a promise of how far a particular driver will travel. In Car and Driver’s range test, the Cyberbeast covered 250 miles under that publication’s test conditions—70 miles below the 320-mile estimate it cited. Neither figure predicts every trip. Cars.com range estimates · Car and Driver range test
Actual range varies with driving speed, weather, terrain, wheels, cargo and other conditions. Towing has a particularly direct effect: Tesla says it significantly decreases range. Plan charging around the expected load and route rather than assuming the estimate will hold when towing. Cars.com also reports a 123-kWh battery pack and DC fast-charging capability up to 350 kW; these are reported specifications, not a statement that every charger or session will deliver that rate. How much can a Cyberbeast tow?
Tow capacity depends on configuration and wheels, so do not assume the highest Cybertruck rating applies to every vehicle. Tesla’s towing table lists up to 11,000 pounds of trailer weight and 1,100 pounds of tongue weight for AWD Cybertruck with 20-inch wheels. Its Long Range configuration is listed at 7,500 pounds and 750 pounds, respectively. Confirm the specific vehicle’s configuration and hitch label. Tesla towing limits and guidance
The maximum figures do not mean a truck can tow that much in every loading situation. Passengers, cargo and equipment count toward vehicle weight limits and can reduce the tongue weight and trailer capacity available. Tesla says the maximum towing capacity assumes the truck does not exceed its gross vehicle weight rating. Its manual also says payload is limited by whichever comes first: available space or the vehicle’s weight capacity. Tesla towing guidance · Tesla Cybertruck owner manual

Before towing
- Check the tow rating and hitch label for the exact truck, and account for passengers, cargo and installed equipment.
- Balance tongue weight at approximately 10% of trailer weight without exceeding the truck’s limit.
- Use the specified cold tire pressures, set suspension height and engage Trailer Mode.
- Check trailer lights, brakes, connections and cargo, and follow local towing rules.
Tesla warns: “Do not tow with Cybertruck if you do not have towing knowledge and experience; doing so may result in damage, injury or death.” Its guidance says towing-related damage is not covered by warranty. The owner manual separately cautions that exceeding specified weights can cause damage not covered by warranty. Tesla DIY towing guidance · Tesla Cybertruck owner manual
What does the Cyberbeast add over other Cybertruck trims?
Its defining difference is performance. Cars.com reports a 2.6-second 0–60 mph estimate for Cyberbeast, compared with 4.1 seconds for the dual-motor AWD trims. It also lists a 320-mile range estimate for Cyberbeast versus 325 miles for the dual-motor versions. These are Cars.com’s reported figures, not independent acceleration or range-test results. The price comparison is substantial: Cars.com’s destination-inclusive 2026 listing puts Cyberbeast $20,000 above Premium AWD and $30,000 above Dual Motor AWD. Premium is described as adding adjustable-height suspension and 11,000-pound towing to the base trim, plus the listed cabin equipment. If your priority is towing or comfort features rather than tri-motor acceleration, compare Premium carefully before paying for Cyberbeast. Tesla’s Mobile Connector listing describes charging from standard outlets and includes NEMA 5-15 and 14-50 adapters. Charging speed depends on the outlet and vehicle. Tesla also lists an Outlet Adapter for device power in compatible Cybertruck configurations; Tesla’s manual says only the Gen 3 Mobile Connector supports the Outlet Adapter when it is required. This is not a bidirectional inverter and cannot power a home electrical panel. Check the region, vehicle configuration and connector generation before relying on the setup. Is the Cyberbeast worth about $100,000?
It may make sense for a buyer who specifically values Cyberbeast’s tri-motor performance and wants the equipment Cars.com associates with the higher trims. It is harder to justify on utility alone: Cars.com lists Premium at $20,000 less on the same destination-included basis and says it has 11,000-pound towing and adjustable-height suspension. The range estimates also do not favor Cyberbeast over the dual-motor versions in Cars.com’s comparison.
Before deciding, compare the live destination-inclusive price and current equipment, the range you can plan around for your typical driving, and the payload and tow limits of the exact vehicle once loaded. If the main use is towing, make the range reduction and weight limits part of the cost-and-trip calculation—not just the headline tow rating.
