Check the terms displayed in T Life and Shell Fuel Rewards before counting on a particular savings amount.
What happened to the 25¢ Shell discount?
T-Mobile announced the 25¢-per-gallon promotion during its Coverage Beyond virtual event in June 2022. It applied to up to 20 gallons, and customers could start using it on June 21, according to Tech Times’ report published June 16, 2022. That report explains the headline’s claim; it does not establish that the same discount is available now.

What does T-Mobile offer at Shell now?
T-Mobile’s T-Mobile Tuesdays page currently advertises 10¢ off per gallon on up to 20 gallons every Tuesday at participating Shell stations. Shell’s Everyday Offers page for T-Mobile says customers activate the offer in T Life and describes complimentary Gold status for T-Mobile customers, with at least 10¢ per gallon for Gold and at least 15¢ for Platinum.
Shell’s Fuel Rewards terms for T-Mobile, last updated March 12, 2026, describe a weekly code worth 5¢ per gallon for up to 20 gallons. They say members with Silver, Gold, or Platinum status may stack the code with status rewards, for listed totals of 8¢, 10¢, or 15¢, respectively. Those figures do not line up exactly with every detail on the consumer-facing Shell and T-Mobile pages, so there is no single total that can safely be assumed for every customer or redemption. How to claim and redeem the weekly offer
- Check the offer in T Life. Find the current T-Mobile Tuesdays Shell offer and read its displayed savings, deadline, and location conditions.
- Claim the code and load it. Follow the offer instructions to add the code to your Shell Fuel Rewards account. Shell says a Fuel Rewards account is required and can be created for free; its consumer-facing instructions direct nonmembers to create one in the Shell app.
- Redeem at an eligible station. At a participating Shell or other select participating fuel station, use your Shell Fuel Rewards card or member ID as directed by the offer.
The terms cap the discount at 20 gallons per purchase and set a weekly deadline for loading and redemption. Confirm the exact dates and eligible locations in the current offer rather than relying on an earlier week’s terms.

- Your actual per-gallon discount: Public descriptions differ on the base code and status stacking. Check the amount shown for your account in T Life and Shell Fuel Rewards.
- Your status and stacking: Shell’s terms list status-based totals, while its Everyday Offers page describes at least 10¢ for Gold and at least 15¢ for Platinum. Do not assume a tier total without checking the live terms.
- Gallons, station, and timing: The terms state a 20-gallon-per-purchase cap and a weekly redemption window. Check the offer for eligible stations, any location limits, and the deadline to load and redeem.
Shell warns in its terms: “Offers may be modified or discontinued at any time without notice.”
