What were the revised TNTET 2025 exam dates?

How did the schedule change?
TRB’s August 11, 2025 notification initially listed November 1 for Paper I and November 2 for Paper II as tentative dates. The revised dates moved each paper two weeks later. TRB Notification No. 03/2025 sets out the original tentative schedule; the revised dates were reported by Scroll and Careers360.
Are TNTET 2025 applications still open?
No. The original notification gave September 8, 2025, as the application deadline and September 9–11, 2025, as the application edit window. Both are historical, as are the exam dates. Refer to TRB announcements for information about any later TNTET cycle; the 2025 schedule does not establish a future exam date.

What TNTET does—and does not—mean
TNTET is an eligibility test for candidates seeking to teach the covered class levels. It is not itself a direct recruitment notice or appointment to a teaching post, as the Tamil Nadu government careers portal explains. Candidates looking for vacancies should check the relevant recruitment announcements separately.
