October opening coverage also referred to apparel for adults and children, cosmetics, toys and homewares. Those categories describe the announced offer, not a current catalogue or a guarantee that a particular brand, size or item is in stock.
In the opening announcement, TK Maxx Australia spokesperson Tony Dunseath described the retailer’s proposition as “big brands at small prices” and said new styles arrived multiple times a week. That was the retailer’s description of its offer, not an independently verified price comparison.
