At 4,549,000 reported sales, Doggystyle stands well ahead of every other entry. BestSellingAlbums.org’s separate album page also reports 4,549,000 copies and breaks its estimate down by country; that page was updated October 16, 2021. Those figures remain source-reported estimates, not an independently audited global count.

The next two albums are close
Tha Doggfather ranks second at 2,207,500, while Da Game Is to Be Sold, Not to Be Told follows at 2,160,000. The difference between their listed estimates is 47,500, a much narrower gap than the lead between either album and Doggystyle.
The rest of the top ten spans different release types
Ranks four through eight are solo studio albums, from R&G (Rhythm and Gangsta): The Masterpiece at 1,682,500 to Tha Blue Carpet Treatment at 715,000. The final two entries broaden the scope: Mac & Devin Go to High School is credited to Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa, and Death Row: Snoop Doggy Dogg at His Best is a compilation. They appear in the cited album ranking, but should not be mistaken for solo studio albums.

The numbers are one database’s reported estimates, not a definitive count of every album sold worldwide. BestSellingAlbums.org lists 15.7 million in total album sales for Snoop Dogg on its artist page, but that total is likewise the site’s figure and should not be combined with other measures as if the methodologies were identical.
Certifications provide a separate kind of evidence. The Recording Industry Association of America describes its Gold and Platinum program as a recorded-music benchmark and maintains a Gold & Platinum database. Certification awards are not interchangeable with BestSellingAlbums.org’s international sales estimates. RIAA also notes that its artist totals may be higher when collaborations and featured works are counted.

These records corroborate market certifications; they do not verify the exact worldwide totals shown above. Death Row Records’ artist biography gives rounded claims of more than 23 million U.S. albums and 35 million worldwide, but those are artist-level biography figures, not an album-by-album audited accounting.
